Sleep Inn Provo, Provo

My wife was diagnosed with cancer the week before we were supposed to stay at the Sleep Inn in Provo. We had to cancel our trip so that she could have emergency surgery. I called both the national "customer relations" department and the local hotel manager to see if they would refund our money. They all tried to pass the buck to someone else and hide behind corporate policy. No one had the compassion to refund our money. We will never stay at any of the hotels in the "Choice Hotel" chain again.

After a difficult day, we were fortunate to stumble into the Provo Sleep Inn. All area hotels were busy due to high school athletics, but we still rec'd great service from the hotel's front desk clerk, who took the time and showed great patience to make sure our needs for the night were met. In a day when many others do not understand the concept of service, we found wonderful service here. The room itself was in the NEW addition, so it was very clean and inviting. Continental breakfast was good, and the hotel has easy access to I-15, gas, and restaurants. Great value for the money. ;)

The staff was highly motivated and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, they were always on there feet helping and serving the guest. The rooms were nice and clean, the air conditioner worked great and the beds were awesome. During my visit they were in the middle of renovation and were planning to open a new addition in July that will have brand new rooms, pool, exercise room, hot tub and a guest laundry room. I can’t wait to return to this hotel to see how their new rooms turned out. They are defiantly the best deal in Provo, even if you are looking for the best rate! Thank you sleep Inn

I love the beds here. I am often in Provo for training and have made this my first choice. There are others nearby that are excellent but charge twice as much. My room is always clean and neat. The rooms and building were starting to show there age recently, but there was a remodel going on last time I was there hopefully the whole place will be updated soon. The staff has always been helpful and quick to remedy any issues and/or requests I have made and are always friendly. My only complaint (a small one) is the complementary breakfast is a little stingy I would prefer a larger hot breakfast like the ones that are the rage in business hotels right now. That said the breakfast is adequate just not in the great category.

We had reservations for 8-29-08. We were moving our son up to college in Provo, Utah. We had major car trouble on the highway and realized we couldn't make it to Provo that night. My wife called to cancel the reservations immediately. It was after the 4pm cutoff time. They still charged us full price for both rooms at a total of $280+. So, we had to pay for the hotel in the town we were trapped in, and the hotel we didn't get to make it to. When I later called to explain our situation I was met with the response "It's company policy" over and over again. They did not forgive the bill. They did not offer to reduce the bill. But, they did offer me a 25% discount on my NEXT stay. Yeah, like that's ever going to happen. I feel they profitted from our misfortune and were very unsympathetic to our plight. My son attends college in Provo, Utah and we will be visiting fairly often. However, we will not be staying at Sleep Inn or La Quinta Inn(which is owned by the same people). They could have had a repeat customer by even just offering me a small discount on the bill for the night we couldn't stay. But, it wasn't "company policy".

The room was large and quiet. There was a garden tub for two in the bathroom which was great. The room did show signs of wear. The comforter on the bed has ripped areas in it. The curtains were starting to fall apart. The chair's seam were ripping a part and was in need of a good cleaning. The bed was very comfortable. The cable on the tv wasn't working and all you got was local channels. But the one in the bathroom had all of the channels.

i stopped in one night at this hotel and wasnt expecting much but it was really nice and the hotel staff made my stay extra special. Probally the best thing at the hotel was the beds they were so comfortbale and the manager told me that the beds were only a few months old overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone

i really did enjoy my stay at sleep inn, i espically liked the pool so my kids could play in it. the best feature was the extremely comfortable beds in the rooms. The breafast was better than most hotels but i would prefer scrambled eggs as opposed to hard boiled. The front desk was very friendly and willing to help. The maid forgot to do something in the room and the front desk agent got right on it. All in all i would recomend this hotel to anybody coming to provo.
