best getaway in north alabama

this was the greatest place for kids. there's always disneyland and places like that, but this was a great nature area. very laid back and relaxed. and still had great amenities. horseback riding, wonderful pool and small poool for the kids, a nice beach, you can rent boats and next year we'll definitely bring our own because you can tie up to your own pier. the cottages are more like lakeside homes, really nice, modern, and the staff is the best, great hospitality, really nice people
