Limited Inn, Vienna

Nothing to like except the lady at the front desk. Still don't even know her name, but she was courteous, friendly and extremely apologetic for the conditions of the room. The hallway and the room were musty. I used a can and a half of Lysol on the room, and it still felt 'slimy' even when we left our 'reservation' an hour later. We had to request CLEAN pillowcases, a CLEAN blanket and a CLEAN bed spread . . . BEFORE WE EVEN UNPACKED OUR SUITCASES!!! They were apparently undergoing 'renovations.' The stuff they were replacing was either already in the hallway, or they were replacing it with USED FURNITURE . . . because NONE of it was new! SERIOUSLY?! This is a place we'd stayed at 4-6 times before! It had been immaculate! This place has gone downhill FAST! And it doesn't appear to be wanting to 'improve.' DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE!

Where to start...My husband and i stopped after being on the road for 11 hours my husband decided to stop in Vienna at Limited Inn. I wish to Heaven we had driven on! The long grey-haired desk clerk was busy talking on her cell phone, then finally got around to asking us what she coudl do for us. It's a hotel, we obviously wanted a room! We got checked in, and we went into the room to drop some of our things off, when we came back out to get more of our stuff that we needed, the same desk clerk was in the room behind the desk, sitting in a chair and smoking....I thought Illinois had a smoking ban? The desk clerk the morning we left wasn't much better..She was more worried about her "farmville" not working...I wouldn't stay there again if THEY paid me...You would think they would be a little more friendly and ALOT LESS sarcastic and rude...Seems like the only one that was of any help to us at all was the girl working late nights when we couldn't get our television to work, the clerk wsa very helpful and came down to fix it and told us if there was anything else she could do to let her know, and she would help as best she could. Bless her soul for having to work with those other women!

Nov 15, 2009 check-in Nov. 16, 2009 check-out. My room, No. 104, was clean, except for the carpeting which was vaccuumed, but needed spot cleaning and over all shampooing very badly. I also did not have a telephone in my room. There was an information folder with all the info on how to call the front desk and emergency, etc., and even after I reported this issue to the front desk and was told that it would be taken care of and I would be getting a phone, I never did.....a rather scary night for me! My daughter was put in room No.109, but had to request to be moved, because the locks were both broken on her door. She had no way of securing her door. She was then put in to room No. 101, where she stayed, but the toilet had no flushing handle and there was mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom. There was also no radio alarm clock in this room and the carpet was also badly in need of being shampood. We would not recommend this motel to anyone, unless they were very, very tired, like we were that night. We also wish we would have traveled further on into Illinois where, had we known, we would have found better accommodations that night. We also believe that $55.00 was priced way over the value of this motel, in it's run down condition.

The rooms were very clean.Pool was beautiful. The hotel staff was very pleasant. They seemed to take a interest in their job by helping others.

Requested a certain room upon making reservation; we were told it had been reserved for us. Upon checking in, this reservation request was not honored even though the room was available for the first night of our two day stay (someone else who had made a reservation after us was given the said room for the second night). No cooperation from shift desk manager nor from Motel Manager. Indoor pool was not heated.
