Comfort Inn Kelowna Westside, Central Okanagan

Pubic hair was embedded in the cheap towels. I felt cleaner before I got into that shower. Stains on bed and chairs were dark and disgusting. There was strange gunk stuck on the walls. Very rude, unhelpful and inappropriate staff. One staff member made inappropriate remarks to us and was dressed quite inappropriatley for that kind of job. Another staff member was extrememly rude to us when we checked out and accused out of trying to skip out on the bill when we had paid prior to leaving. Didn't even apologize after realizing his mistake. We were suppose to stay over a week and left after the first night to a nicer hotel because it was so gross. Absolutely disgusting place that should be shut down. Do not stay here unless your cleanliness standards are extremely low and you are okay with the idea of getting some sort of parasite or bug to bring home to your bed.

I checked into this hotel on a very busy night, and was lucky that they were able to find a room for me. Despite some of the above reviews, I found their rooms to be VERY clean. Yes, they were a bit bland, but the cleanliness was superb. The location was a little far away from downtown Kelowna, but there were still plenty of shops in the area, and it was nice to be away from Kelowna's busy downtown sector. Pool & Hot tub area is a nice relaxing place to spend a summer afternoon, and the free breakfast in the morning was a great addition!
