Getting too commercial

We are one of those families that have been coming for 40 plus years. We get about 5 cabins of family members. I love the location and being on the horse shoe of the river. As I have gone from age 28 to 60 since my first time there, the float around the horseshoe has been great for when the kids were small and now that I am getting up in years and have trouble getting in and out of a tube, it is a great "granny" float. My kids now do the long floats and the chute, etc., like I used to do, which has created great memories for us, our kids and our grandkids.
However, I do resent the fact that I am asked to clean my cabin before I leave. The cost of the cabin is way too much for what you get. I can live without a microwave, I can bring my own TV, I bring most of my own cooking utensils because what they provide are not fit to cook in, but I try to remember that I am supposed to be roughing it. But when it comes time to pack up to go home and be out by noon plus clean the cabin, I draw the line. We are upstairs, and as I mentioned before, we are getting up in years, my husband has arthritis in both knees, I am diabetic and have a bad knee and by the time we lug everything up and down the stairs, I am in no mood or shape to clean that cabin. We pay them enough that we should not have to clean it. They have hired help to do that. I am so annoyed by this that for the first time in over 30 years I am trying to find another place for us even if I have to pay more. It's the principle of the matter. The owner and his office help are rude and could care less about us as a loyal client. They know they don't need our business because they can rent those cabins at any price any time they want and they don't need repeat customers.
Another thing that is annoying is we come on July 4 weekend every year and there is another family group there who takes up the whole outdoor area. They take about 10 picnic tables, 3 or 4 grills and put their stuff on them and rope the area off and no one else can use it. The area they rope off is right next to the playgroud equipment and the kids in their group and some of the parents intimidate the other kids and hog the playground. One incident, one of our kids wanted to play horseshoes and individuals from that group were using the horseshoes and our kid's dad told him he would play with him with these individuals were finished. So he sat there for about 45 min waiting for them to finish. When they finished, he went over and picked up the horseshoes to make sure he could use them next and was going to let his Dad know they could play now. One of the adults of the group yelled at him and told him to put them down; he couldn't take them away. Our kid explained why he was taking them and the man told him hatefully he didn't care he wasn't going anywhere with those horseshoes. It's like that whole outside area is theirs.
