Days Inn & Suites Webster NASA/Clear Lake-Houston, Webster

I question the standards of Days Inn after staying in this motel. The rugs were filthy! It left the bottom of my socks black. There were burn holes in the bedspread, in a non- smoking room. The tub was stained with mold around the air jets. The breakfast was shut down at 9 in the morning. Not good for a vacation. I really believe that this is an unheathy place to stay.

It wasn't what it was cracked up to be!!!! The pool was freezing and is indoors. It was march ( spring break) when we went and the only way to access the pool was to walk all the way around the building OUTSIDE and it was cold.. my kids were freezing.. The room had a musty smell and I wasn't impressed so we chose to stay somewhere else the next night of our trip!!

If you are looking for a clean no frills hotel, this is it. I have paid more and gotten a lot less. There was a fridge,microwave,blow dryer, coffee pot and a whirlpool bath, and guess what? Everything WORKED!!!!!!! The pool was nice too. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Bed was reasonably comfortable, A/C was cold. Convenient location to Kemah, Galveston and NASA. Would recommend to anyone.

Love this place. Customer service is exceptional, especially Devin. Got upgraded to a suite and wish I could have stayed longer. Very clean and quiet. Make your reservations on-line thru the hotel and you will get a great rate. They will have a welcome letter for you in your room along with bottled water and cookies. Felt really special! Please stay there!!! I sure will again!

This hotel is my best stay these summer traveling with kids . I found hotel front desk (Jessica) to be very very pleasnant __ my daughter made BIG mess not even hour after check in this front desk agent not only helped me with getting things cleaned up, but the following day i felt the DO NOT DISTURB sign and messed housekeeping __she cleaned room in a timely manner and never did any thing but smile this is after 6pm central time. If thats not helpful, I mean was very pleased, from Manger to staff every one was delightful..

We stayed here several months ago when we went to Kemah and Galveston. We found the motel clean and were very satisfied. I can't believe some of the reviews that said otherwise. We did not experience any inconveniences at all. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very clean and nice large rooms-BUT- The swimming pool was not working. I stated a DOWNSTAIRS room. Elderly parent with me needed a lower floor room. Also, reserved two double beds. Well, when i get there the only room availabe is a upstairs room with one king size bed. Four people one bed!!Hotel is nice but just make sure you know what you are going to get in advance. Kids were very upset with no working pool.

We stayed here on the way to Galveston and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is older, but well-maintained and clean. Tip - get a downstairs room - there is no elevator.

The hotel rooms do show their age, but are clean and everything worked. We stayed for 4 nights and were offered some nice local attraction coupons at the desk without us asking. The first morning was a bit unpleasant due to the hot water not working in the entire hotel. The problem was remedied by the evening and the hotel gave us a discount, again without us asking. Breakfast was minimal, yet sufficient. The pool was clean and deeper than most hotel pools.

It turned out to be a great launching pad... We checked in early, which is often a problem at other hotels, but not here. They just found a room that was ready, which also turned out to be a free upgrade, and put us in it. The room was much more than I would have expected, with wet bar, fridge, microwave, etc., on top of the usual stuff like coffee maker, etc. I don't know if that's for every room, or just the 'upgraded' one we ended up with. Anyway, while there were some signs of wear, they were extremely minor and much less than I've seen in many times more expensive hotels. We're the type of travelers where the hotel is basically a place to come back to at bed time and store the bags. So, our expectations are not real high - basically just a clean room. With that said, however, they really exceeded anything we could have expected. Service was simply top notch and personal. The desk guy even came out from behind the desk, walked us over to the brochure stand, and started pulling his recommendations for us. We never did try the breakfast or the indoor pool, but both were available. The breakfast area looked clean, well lit, and inviting. The pool was in a separate room just off the lobby. the location was just about perfect as well, close (but not too close) to the interstate, close to NASA, and a short drive to Kemah. We'll be back.
