Comfort Inn West Yellowstone, West Yellowstone

Made a reservation then added an additional day to the beginning of our stay. Got there & they didn't have the 1st day. They did however find us a beautiful hotel to stay at for our 1st night which was cheaper & much nicer, too bad we didn't get to stay at that hotel for the entire stay. We used the rest of our res. @ the Comfort Inn : ( . The pool was VERY cloudy & had too much clorine. This hotel is located several blocks from the main downtown area. If you like to walk around town for shopping & eating it was easier to drive than to walk from the hotel.

I booked 3 nights at Comfort Inn West Yellowstone. Before I left home, I called the hotel and was confirmed the reservation was OK. I checked my reservation online on the day of arrival and the reservation was OK. Comfort Inn Yellowstone even sent me a welcome email for the incoming stay. However, upon arriving at the Comfort Inn after 10 hours of driving, my exhausted family was told the hotel has no room for us, and we were forced to find another hotel for 3 nights at the busiest season at Yellowstone! According to "Seinfeld", this is exactly the rare kind of hotel that knows how to take the reservation, but not how to KEEP the reservation. And yes, the KEEPING is the more important part of the process. Be very careful and avoid this one!

We recently stayed here during a family vacation. Nice area (end of quiet street) with plenty of parking - especially if you are hauling a trailer. Nice, friendly knowedgeable staff. Great breakfast (waffles, donuts, hard boiled eggs, etc.). Pools was a little cold. Nice spacious, clean rooms. Good recommendation from front desk to eat at Bullwinkles restaurant (where the locals eat).

Our 1 king bedroom is clean and spacious. With desk, table and table and chairs inside, it's a really nice place for good vacation. We will stay here again next time.
