Days Inn Clemson, Clemson

rooms were very comfortable and had all the ammenities of home. location was great! very close to restaurants, downtown clemson, and stadium. staff was very friendly and helpful with ideas of local attractions and things to do. i will definantly stay here again!!!!

The description of this hotel is grossly misleading. While advertised as a "business place" they, in reality, cater to the construction crews from out of town. For the brief time I was there, there was a large group drinking and hanging off the balcony. The room was worn and dirty, tub and shower dirty. The chair was so dirty the upholstery was slick. The ice machine was dirty and the only drink machine did not work. Their continental breakfast area is one small table and a tiny microwave. And their business center was a table with a computer on it. I left and went to another hotel without staying the night. I booked through Travelocity and they refused me a refund because the manager (who was not on site) said they offered me another room (which they did not). So much for their customer satisfaction claims.

Insect control was less than desirable. The price was certainly well beyond the accomodations. The rates are obviously very inflated during football season.
