Worst Hotel Ever...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/11
The worst hotel that I have ever stayed in in my whole life of traveling. The first room did not have weather strip under the front door allowing bugs to come in or rain. The curtains were falling off the curtain rod clips. So I called the front desk. They moved us to a 2nd room and it was worse then the 1st room. The bathroom door would not close, the room smelled like mildew, cable would not work properly, the sink had bugs and lettuce etc and would not drain, desk lamp did not work, carpet damp. The only good thing it was across the street from the beach but if you don't care about cleaniness it's okay for you. Not me!

WILL NOT EVER STAY AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/18/11
WHEN WE FIRST WENT IN WE WERE QUOTED A PRICE OF $139. WHEN WE WENT BACK IT WAS $119. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY. THE LATCH ON DOOR WAS LOOSE. YOU COULD SEE DAYLIGHT UNDER THE DOOR. BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. SAID IT WAS A QUEEN BED MORE LIKE A DOUBLE. SHOWER CURTAIN ROD READY TO FALL ANYTIME. TOOK TOILET FOREVER TO FLUSH. LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO FIX ALL ROOMS. I WONDER IF ANY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE!! BREAKFAST WAS SKIMPY!! ODOR IN ROOM. OK TO CRASH WITH ONE EYE OPEN. THEY HAD ONE CART TO HAUL LUGGAGE. WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE THE GIRL LOOKED AT ANOTHER GIRL AND ROLLED HER EYES.....:( :( WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY HERE. SURPRISED IT HAS NOT BEEN CONDEMED.

Travel Lodge / Comfort Suite / Cabana Inn???
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/18/11
First of all there is NO Cabana Inn...it is a Travel Lodge unless you look at the expired elevator permit which lists Comfort Suite. The place is a dump. The girl at the front desk was nice but not helpful. The carpets are disgusting, the room had a nasty odor. We had to call for maintenance server 3x, one to fix the broken dead bolt, another to fix the door latch and then the A/C was never fixed. Housekeeping didn't come to the room and when we requested additional blankets, we didn't get them. Had to go down to lobby only to get nasty old cigarette burned blankets. The elevator's permit expired in August 2010 and the "breakfast for two" was microwave biscuits and sausage and donuts if you were there before 8am...after that it was slim pickens!!! The bathroom sink stopper was missing and the shower leaked. Gulf View didn't exist unless you were located on the 3rd floor or higher and then you had to look throught building and across the street...this was not the quaint picturesque they lead one to believe. Very disappointed !!!

Living Social Deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/11
I was expecting this hotel to be horrible after reading the reviews. When we got to the hotel it was Mardi Gras which I didn't have any idea when I made the reservation. The hotel was selling rooms for $179 a night! When we walked into our room we were expecting it to be disgusting but it wasn't. I mean it wasn't a high class hotel by any means but it was decent enough to stay 2 nights. It was clean and close to the beach. The breakfast was nothing special but it did hold us over until lunch so that was one less thing we had to worry about. There was a small fridge in the room. The one thing that sucked was the remote didn't work and had it not been pouring rain we wouldn't have needed the TV but it was raining so it would have been nice to have a remote. The hotel was in walking distance of nice places to eat and the beach so don't be scared to go if you got the Living Social deal. It is not as bad as I expected.

Out of date and dumpy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/11
This hotel is desperately in need of some fixing up. We also took advantage of the Living Social deal, and honestly, it really wasn't much of a deal. Yeah, the hotel is right across from the beach, but it's not in very good condition. The guy who checked us in looked as unkempt as the hotel. Everything was rusted or not in good condition. The bathroom had mold spots and the bedspread had a stain on it. It was reasonably clean, but just not very well taken care of. I recommend picking one of the nicer hotels along the beach instead.

Living Social Deal Disappoints
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/1/11
The Cabana Inn is a dump. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful, but the good customer service could not alter the facts: the walls are paper thin, the carpets are disgusting, the sheets had hairs on them, the elevator's permit expired in August 2010, the "breakfast for two" was microwave biscuits and sausage and donuts, our shower faucet leaked hot water continuously (this in the second room we tried after the first was unnacceptable). The best thing that can be said about the Cabana Inn is its location--a stone's throw from the beach, which is obviously what it's relying on. I'm curious to hear what other Living Social customers who bought this deal thought.

Echo 2/3 Marine Reunion
By JL, 9/26/10
Two thumbs up. Everyone said they had a good time. The refreshments provided were very appreciated. Whatever problems occured were taken care of in a timely manner. Just hope you keep updating and spiffing up the rooms, elevators, etc. The room rates were very reasonable and if we ever have another get together we'll be sure to come again. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Good Value for the Price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/10
The staff was very accommodating and the location is perfect. Then, throw in the Cabana Bar by the pool and the price for the room goes up exponentially. The boys in the back that run the Cabana Bar are AWESOME. They made the stay worth every penny.

perfect getaway
By rebel, 7/16/10
I recently stayed at the cabana inn pensacola beach and I found this to be a perfect getaway for me . The staff was very polite and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable. The view from my room was awsome. Pensacola Beach is less than 100 yards from the hotel, as are all the shops and resturants. There is a little tiki bar at poolside that I found to be very relaxing and friendly. I would highly recomend this Inn to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. thank you for a great stay! Cant wait for my next visit
