The Hotel Class should definitely be 4 Star Hotel

What I LOVED about this place was virtually EVERYTHING! I never stayed at Comfort Suites before, for I had always chosen Hilton Hotels. But I had a situation with my Mom having emergency surgery at the UW-Madison Hospital, and other than my Niece who goes to school in Madison, there were no other family, relatives, or friends anywhere near Madison, to keep my Mom company during her stay there.
I so much wanted to be there for Mom, and decided to spend 8 days in Madison to bring happiness & cheer to her! However, I suffer greatly with Chronic Pain, due to a combination of health issues, but I bit the bullet for my Mom. I didn't want her to stay in Madison all alone like that.
The Hilton I tried to book for 8 days was unavailable for the dates I needed, so I looked over the Hotels and took a chance with Comfort Suites. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but let me tell you, that when my Taxi pulled up under the canopy, just the outside architecture of the building looked VERY promising!
It was when I walked through the double doors and my eyes beheld the MOST BEAUTIFUL Lobby, that my jaw dropped! HOLY CATS! This place is GORGEOUS! I was checked in by the most hospitable Staff EVER! They gave me my room cards, and my Taxi driver followed me up the elevator to the top 3rd floor with my suitcases, where my room was just around the corner. I slid the card key in my room's door slot and opened the door to an UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS room!!! I swear that my eyes popped out of my head, and my jaw dropped, once again!
Even my Taxi Driver took a look around with amazement after setting my suitcases down. He too, was VERY impressed, as was I! And impressed is truly an understatement, because the room was absolutely BREATHTAKING! From the cherry-wood furnishing, to the king size bed, I KNEW at that moment that I couldn't have made a better choice!
The room was very spacious, and my awesome king size bed (which was VERY SOFT to sleep on!!!!!) was close to the window, and had a nightstand with drawer and a lamp on both sides of the bed. Across from my bed was a beautiful full-standing armoire to hang my dresses & various shirts, a lovely 4-drawer storage armoire, where I stored my lingerie and other suitable items. On top of the 4 -drawer armoire was a nice size TV with remote.
There was a small wall/ledge, which separated my bed from a sitting room area that had a large beautiful sofa, lamp, coffee table, a large desk with a leather chair, a wall lamp, and a full length mirror.
From the living/sitting room, and closer to the door, was a cute little kitchenette, which had a small microwave, a nice size cupboard with two shelves for storing imperishable items, a small but convenient refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and above those things was the countertop, which was a nice size and held not only the small microwave, but also had a small coffeepot, with available regular coffee pouches, or decaff, along with tea bags, and packets with napkins, stirring straw, a packet of sugar and a creamer packet.
Next to the cute little kitchenette, was a LARGE bathroom! HOLY CATS! I kid you NOT! With a large vanity & mirror, a large bathtub/shower, and cotton white towels & wash clothes a-plenty, and they were all VERY SOFT and comfortable to use! ("NOT" those kind of towels that peel your skin off when you wipe down from a shower. Ugh!)
ALL of this was JUST THE "STANDARD" ROOM!!!!! But what really made this room stand out to the eye, was the interior decorating. Not only in the Lobby, Lounges, and Pub area, was this place "decked out," but the rooms, to me, were Designer-looking and LUXURIOUS, to say the least!
Aside from all that, and to top it all of, was the charm, attentive, and helpful staff! Desiree Bishop is the Front Office Manage, and let me tell you, she truly knows how to run a GREAT Hotel!
I give this Hotel 2 Thumbs Up... WAY UP! And you can bet that I WILL be going back for another visit & more! And I hope soon!!
