Sleep Inn Gallup, Gallup

Located at the far eastern end of Gallup's (a city 10 miles long and one wide) frontage along I40. Staff could use some training, always am overcharged and not given special, reserved rates. Did not correct and still overbilled. Hotel is clean, rather new and has easy access to I40. First exit heading west, but located a ways out of main strip along old Route 66. Gas station and restaurants right outside the hotel property. Poorly lit entraces in rear and side, and long walks to rooms from parking area, again not well lit. High price for this chain and compared to other hotels in the area. Service lacking as it appears owners are cutting down on staff for some reason.
