Best hotel for the money in the area

The Step Back Inn offers the hominess of a bed-and-breakfast with the easy access and privacy of a small hotel.
Tweety Blancett, the industrious-gracious owner of the Step Back Inn, has maintained this wonderful small hotel in Aztec for a number of years at a standard on par with the best value in accommodations in the region. I stay here whenever I am in the region visiting family. She is often on the premises making sure things are working to her high expectations.
And, there is nothing like waking up to the smells of warm fresh home-baked breakfast rolls she throws in on the deal. (She should know how -- Tweety was my bachelor-survival (home-econ) teacher in high school).
The Blancetts are long-time ranchers in the area. Tweety's hotel offers, in fact, a "step back" in time. She has themed each room in tribute to different local ranching or farming families of earlier times, noted in the antique pictures in each room.
A treat of a place, indeed.
