Howard Johnson Inn Perry, Perry

We made reservations here because of the location and price. When we arrived, we found the room very clean in appearance with all the extras... frig/microwave. However, we never expected to see roaches in the room. The first occurrence was at midnight. What was thought to be a fly on the wall was a roach on the wall. After moving the frig to attempt to kill the pest, another roach was discovered. Immediately we thought that needed to look for another place to stay. The next morning, we discovered 5 more roaches within a 1 hour span. It was time to leave. After explaining over and over to the front desk, we left dissatisfied. The staff refused to refund the first night fee because we did not call when the first two roaches appeared. We felt that 6 hours should not have made a difference taking in consideration of the latter appearances of the 5. We left and found comfort and a bug free environment in Comfort Inn down the street. This was definitely a bad experience.

We just stayed here this past weekend driving through. We stopped at 4 other hotels at the exit and for the price you cant beat it. Nice, clean King room with a recliner, desk and chair, and a mini frig and micro. Bathroom was clean and newly painted. Its not the Ritz Carlton, but passing through the area-great place to spend the night!
