Rainbow Hotel Casino & Suites, Vicksburg

Hotel manger is unbelievable hostile, aggressive, verbally abusive, downright RUDE. Rooms stinks, literally. Musty with a catbox urine odor. Carpet had a gummy sticky damp feel to it. Put my shoes back on and did not let my feet touch the floor. I can overlook a lot, except when staff are so rude that I was apprehensive about going back throught the lobby to return to my room. You shouldn't have to afraid to go to your hotel room!!

I stayed on January 13th, 2006 - my room was number 218. That was the LUMPIEST bed (the one next to the bathroom). I could not get comfortable. The bathroom - up over the door and in the corner had either mold or caked dust that needed tending too. The room did not have any bottle(s) of drinking water and the refrig was warm.

I ALWAYS stay here when I go to Vicksburg. The hotel has GREAT rates (49.95-62.50 for a standard room on weekends!). Hotel includes heated indoor pool that is availabe 24 hours (great place to be if looking for a swim during the winter), hot tub, and exercise room. For the adults, it is attached to a nice size gaming casino, and includes a snack bar, blues bar, and full size restaurant. Within 10 miles of 3 additional casinos and historic downtown Vicksburg. You can request a room with a view of the Mississippi river! Also, for people that just HAVE to check email, this hotel provides free access to the internet via THEIR computer.
