Don't ever stay here-0% satisfaction guarantee

My husband and I checked in about 6:30 p.m. There was no heat in the room and it was about 30 degrees outside. We turned the heat on only to get freezing cold air coming out of the room heater. After 1 hr we called the front desk and were told all rooms were heated the same so there was no reason to change rooms. We left our coats on and I walked down the hall. The people in the next room had no heat either (they also had their coats on with the door open). The hall thermostat was set at 68 degrees and it was warmer than in the rooms. We went to bed in our sweats and checked out at 4:30 a.m. at which time the room started to warm. I believe it was also 3 degrees below zero outside when we left, very unusual we were told. We complained again upon check out and asked about their 100% guarantee but was told "sorry" we need to talk to the manager. Her name & corporates phone # were given to us so once home I started calling the manager but she was never in. I called 5 times documenting all of them and asked that she call back. Never got one phone call returned. I called corporate and they asked that I keep them updated which I did. I also called the BBB and complained. We finally did get $40 in coupons from corporate which was about half of what it cost us and I was going to drop it. But in the meantime, a Guest Service Representative finally started to reply to the BBB and proceeded to claim we were a select few that was trying to get something for free. Obviously he doesn't have a clue about the rooms there and how long it takes when it's cold outside to start to warm up. He also refused to stand behind the "100% SATISFACTION GURANTEED". I called a friend of the family lawyer and he read all of my documents and we were told if we decide to pursue this he would be happy to help out. We could have the records pulled and the people in the next room to ours subpoened to testify what their room was like that night (if they stayed). Evidently this is how the guest representative likes to do business. We may need to proceed with this to prove this is not a "fraudulent claim" as stated to the BBB. Anyways the choice is yours but if I were you, I'd stay somewhere else and also read the other reviews posted here.
