IM a soldier who stayed at thishotel while attendingan Army school and i had money stolen from my room out of my wallet in a 10 minute time period while it was secured. And the owner had no interest in making this situation right he just went defensive right off the bat and was rude about the whole thing. That tells me his security on the rooms is junk or he has dishonest crack heads working for him. This hotel is trash and would not recomend it to anyone.

Where should I start? Well, I am military, temporary at Fort Pickett in Virginia. We were forced out of our barracks becakse of a bed bug issue plaguing the barracks buildings for months. We (the males in the barracks) were taken to this hotel. On the outside it looks fine. But inside the rooms, it is a totally different story. Cockroaches were in most rooms, wolf spiders all over the place, moths and other insects were rampant. The owners barely spoke english which made it difficult to understand them. They had no, I repeat, NO HOUSEKEEPING staff. No gym, no continental breakfast like most hotels do now days. The owners were also rude as hell and makes me wonder how and why they got into the hotel business. Do me a favor, all. If you are travelling up I85 around the VA/NC line, do not stay at this hotel. Go to exit 12 on I85 and there are a plethora of hotels to choose from. You may pay extra, but there is shopping in the area and you will not be disappointed.

didn't like anything about the place but i absolutely hated dealing with the front desk. I was hung up on several times while trying to reach someone in my own room. I asked for my room and they just put the phone down and didn't connect me. I called back and now they don't even answer the phone at the front desk.
