Nations Inn, West Jefferson

I stayed at this place two nights and could never get my computer to access the Internet even though they advertise free wireless Internet access. The diagnostic tool on my laptop indicated I was connected to the motel's network but that their router was out of order. When I called the front desk to complain they said their computer was able to access the Internet just fine and for me to just keep trying. I also reported that the buzzer on the alarm clock in the next room (which was vacant) kept going off. They said they would go in there and shut it off but they never did. The staff didn't seem to want to be bothered with any request that might make them work harder than they felt like doing.

I read the other reviews and stayed here... things must have changed!!! Black stuff was running from under the coffee pot when I checked in, I said to myself that it must have happened after the room was cleaned. The next morning I went to shower and the shower head was broken, spraying water all over the bathroom. Then my toliet backed up and I went to the office and ask for someone to fix it... There was three employees in the office when I ask (1-male and 2-female). Approximately 30-45 mins later, one of the females came to the room and said here is you a toilet plunger, a pair of gloves and some towles... the maint. guy had to go home. I did not pay 75.00 a night to plunge toilets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
