Very poor customer service
First off, the room was dirty. They clearly hadn't vaccumed under the beds in quite some time. And the "queen" beds were quite small. And the cleaning people must have not scrubbed the bathtub after they used some cleaner on it, because the second I stepped in the tub for my shower, I wiped out and it took me a few tries to get back up because it was so slippery.
Second, I had a reservation problem and no one there could give me an answer. My room was supposed to be charged to my credit card right away when I booked the rooms (in December 2007 for a stay in April 2008) to guarantee them at that specified rate. Only after I called to try and cancel a room, did they realize that my card hadn't been charged yet and the following day, they charged it. I asked for a terms and condition statement for this type of reservation and they didn't have one to give me. It took me 2 months of talking with customer service in Aberdeen, SD to get a copy of those terms. Long story short, they screwed me over, making me keep all of my rooms and the terms and conditions clearly states that the room is not guaranteed until the credit card has been charged. So moral of the story, be careful how you books rooms there. I ended up paying for 2 rooms that never were used.
The only positive was that we were attending a concert at the Fargodome and the hotel was across the street from there. It was convenient to walk there and avoid parking, traffic, etc.
