I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I've stayed in other downtown hotels and this one doesnt' compare. The rooms were dirty. When we checked into our room there was old food and a broken bottle in our room. The carpets were stained and filthy. In one room their beds were barely bigger than a twin size. Don't make this your first option to stay at.

Made reservations for a 2 night stay online. My reserved room was a non-smoking single, king size bed. The staff was very courteous and everyone had an excellent attitude, from the people at the front desk to the Valet attendants. The one thing that I was a little disappointed with was the numerous loss of internet access. The first day was ok, but my second day there it was off-line more than on. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here.

I'm a bit particular about hotels and this one passed my muster. It was clean, quiet, friedly and comfortable, for me, my husband and two kids. The fact that we booked the room for $95/night is bonus!

I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL TO BE CLOSE TO THE BASEBALL STADIUM, AND WAS I RIGHT, SMACK IN THE DOWNTOWN REGION, EVERYTHING WAS IN WALKING DISTANCE. SO MANY PLACES TO EAT, THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT, AND SO WAS THIS HOTEL. I EXPECTED MORE FOR $110/NIGHT, BUT OH WELL, I'D DO IT AGAIN.

My family received a great discounted price to stay for 2 nights at this hotel. Parking in Cleveland is horrible, so you are almost forced to use valet services, especially if there is an event the same night. Keep that in mind when thinking about your hotel budget. The hotel building is close to everything, so almost all the places you may possibly need to be are about 5-15 minutes away. The service at the hotel was wonderful- there was always someone there to assist you. If you or your family like peace and quiet, do not stay there on a busy weekend night. It is so noisy! Sunday night was much, much better because people were resting or checking out of the hotel. I can only imagine that weeknights are similiar. If you have to stay on a Friday or Saturday, bring earplugs or get ready to make a few phonecalls to the service desk/security! The hotel was clean enough, but not as clean as other hotels at which I have stayed. Overall, the experience was nice for the price paid ($60/night plus rebate). Still, with valet parking ($22/night plus tipping), tipping for housekeeping, tipping the concierge, and seeing things at the hotel that need some improvement, I would never pay more than $70/night for this hotel. Full price is simply not worth it.

You're lured in by the name, the location? Don't bother! The staff was discourteous, a simple request for information was met with a roll of the eyes and sigh. The valet service was dismal. A call down from the room was never answered and no one was to be found once downstairs. One evening while waiting for the valet to appear we were acosted by someone begging for money, and felt very unsafe. The hotel's response was "They know they're supposed to stay twenty feet from the valet area". There are too many other good hotels in the downtown area. I strongly advise you skip this one! I would recommend an intensive customer service training program for the entire staff.

not real clean...toilet paper and tissue not restocked adequately...towels were dirty...tub did not drain, had to stand in dirty water...they did promptly address the problem but not much better and maintanance left black grease on bathroom floor...join by request before stay...this was a nice touch...price was great...if not on business, not the hotel for a family...city shuts down at 5...did not feel safe walking around

A little loud at night. good price and good service. Bed was comfy

I stayed here twice while my wife had appointments at the Cleveland Clinic. It's a very nice hotel, and we had no complaints. Lobby restaraunt might be a bit over-priced, but it was 10 degrees and windy, so we weren't going anywere else. We got a good deal on a travel website, so it worked out nicely.

Hotel room was fine. Nothing special but fine. But from there on the disappointment set in. The restaurant food was mediocre and extravagantly priced for what we were served. The restaurant was loud and the wait staff were rude. Fire alarms woke us twice during the night and there was lots of loud antics in the hallway. I would not have expected this from a hotel such as the Wyndham, and I would have expected them to have security people, which they did not. When we tried to complain no one would answer any of the phones. Did not give a sense of security. And when I talked to the desk staff in the AM they were basically disinterested and told us we should have called, which we did, but they did not answer the phone, and believe me, I let it ring and ring. Altogether a very poor showing. Next time we'll stay at the Renaissance and taxi to the theater.
