HYATT house Los Angeles LAX El Segundo, El Segundo

I had red mixed reviews so was a bit apprenhensive. However when I got there I was very pleased. The staff were very nice a friendly from the front desk, to the clearners, to the breakfast people. The suites are being renovated and ours was already re-done. The furniture is upscale and modern, the place was clean and we just enjoyed being there! The breakfast was good and quite varied.

I stayed at the Summerfield Suites for an extended period of time while relocating to the Los Angeles area. The location was extremely convenient, the breakfast in the morning and light dinner served at night were also great, and the housekeeping staff always made sure the place was immaculate. The service from the front desk staff however, was not what I expected. Never helpful and always disinterested. Other than incompetent front desk staff the place is great.

My children and I ALWAYS stay here when visiting. It is close to restaurants, movie theatre, shopping, the beach and only 4-5 miles south of LAX. This all-suite hotel is great for families...a private bedroom for mom/dad and a pull out couch for the kids. Or, the two bedroom suites are perfect when you want/need the extra beds/bathroom. Each suite comes with a kitchenette stocked w/ dishes, silverware, glasses, allowing you to save money and cook in. A full breakfast is included in the price and has a variety of offerings - eggs, sausage gravy/biscuits, cereals, yogurt, pastry/breads, fruit, juices...something for everyone. There is a tennis court that doubles as a basketball court and my son spent hours outside shooting hoops. Was too cold to use the outdoor pool, but it was clean and inviting looking. Hot tub was great. The hotel is three stories and all entrances are exterior. There are no elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay in El Segundo, the rooms have lots of room and the people working there made you feel very much at home. I stayed there 3 months and would like to go back soon. If I did go back to El Segundo I would stay at the Summerfield Suite. The pool in always a welcome time to enjoy the weather there.
