With easy access to I-40 and I-55 and all local avenues, the hotel is also convenient for driving to Graceland, Libertyland, the Memphis Zoo, AutoZone Park, and Mississippi's casinos. The airport is approximately 10 miles away. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast, complimentary USA Today, rooftop pool (seasonal), sundeck, fitness room, and indoor parking. Nice hotel!

Was in town dropping my son off at University of Memphis for freshman orientation and I wanted to stay in a hotel close to Beale street and I saw this one!!! Now I am VERY picky when it comes to cleanliness so I look at things closely. Check in was easy and the staff was Very friendly. The hallways smelled a little musty on the way to my room on the 14th floor and I gotta tell you it worried me a little bit but when I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised ! The room was a little on the small side but it was CLEAN !!! Shower , beds EVERYTHING was clean! If you are looking for a Clean place to sleep this would be the place.Dislikes- slow and old elevators. I will stay here again but next time I will pay the extra 10 dollars for the river view !!!

We enjoyed the wonderful service that was provided..the staff was helpful and very friendly..rooms were clean..the staff was busy,busy all the time and with a smile..Location was nice we was in walking distance of so many things ..that was nice because thier are so many good places to eat,it was good to walk it off...People of Memphis are Fun,Postive folks to be around...you won't be disappointed with Comfort Inn..Great Place to stay!!! ...We will be back...Had a great time

We were thrilled to stay here. It was such a clean place and the the staff were very polite and professional. It was also a good bargain. In addition the lobby and breakfast area were clean and very updated. Good location - just a nice hotel all around.

Economical all the way!

Read old reviews and didn't know what to expect. So to update everyone this is the hotel you want. No worries about parking cause it's covered...literally. And even though its a few blocks from Beal St. it's a safe walk. Great breakfast, crisp fresh sheets and a hairdryer for all those lady biker chics that pack light like me. Reasonable rates.

THE BROUSSARDS FROM LOUISIANA WILL BE BACK

The Staff were extremely friendly and informative. The rooms wre large, clean and comfortable. We choose this hotel at the last momemt after staying in another hotel and being dissatisfied. I am a smoker, and I've stayed in hotels that cost twice as much and the room smelled like a bar. The fact that I wasn't discrimnated against was impressive. My only regret was that we did not find this hotel first. We'll be back in the fall.

We had a fantastic holiday staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, courteous, pleasant, helpful and polite. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of many attractions including Beale Street, where the all day music and nightlife is brilliant, with a very relaxing feel. The only thing lacking to the hotel, was the fact that other than the breakfast bar, (with an extremely good complimentary breakfast), there is no bar or restauraunt in which to have a night cap or grab a bite to eat between pit stops. That said, there are many,many other places around offering a huge variety of food, drink and relaxation with good value for money. For a place to stay in a relaxed atmosphere (especially for a middle aged couple like ourselves), I would thouroughly reccomend this hotel.

The hotel was decent, it really is not for a business traveler, they do NOT have broadband internet. No matter what they say. There is a wire on the room but it never works. It did not work once in a week for me. The wireless is a 1 or 2 mb connection that only works in the breakfast area. It isn't stable enough to check email. The location was ok, you can take the trolley nearby.

Excellent Hotel

All I can do is endorse everything already said about this hotel. Excellent location,friendly and helpful staff,great breakfast, v.convenient basement parking for $5 per night and free internet access in lobby. We had a large room with a river view which was clean and comfortable with a safe,fridge and microwave. I would definitely stay here again,everything was just right during our 3 day visit to Memphis and the relaxed atmosphere at this hotel really contributed to this. Outstanding.

Would stay again at this Hotel

Hotel very nice and clean, stayed in a room on 14th Floor very large bedroom with stunning view of the River. Excellent location very near to transport for Beale Street. Breakfast good, staff helpful would use this Hotel again.
