Great plavce to relax
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/09
The staff was so helpful and konwledgeable. They had lots of advice on Sedona and helped find a masseuse to loosen up my wife's back the breakfast is OK, nothing elegant but better than a donut and coffee and filled us up for our busy days in Sedona

Great Value
By carol, 07/12/09
The Southwest Inn is in a good location in West Sedona away from the traffic and tourists. Parking was right outside our door. The room was very nice with Kiva fireplace, great bathroom with double sinks, private patio with table and chairs, flat screen TV and refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast was good with a wide variety. Excellent price for such quality. Definitely would stay there again.

Excellent Inn
By Bill, 05/29/09
We recently stayed at Southwest Inn and was very pleasently surprised, The staff was extremely friendly and willing to give suggestions on everything from restaurants to hiking trails. Rooms were very tatefully decorated in Southwest flavor and very spacious. Continential breakfsat was very nice, fresh waffles were very good along with a choice of juice, coffee and milk. Location is very convienent to downtown but not to close to be disturbed by traffic and noise. Very quiet and comfortable rooms! I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone wanting a nice, clean, comfortable and pleasent Inn. We will definitely stay here again!

A treasure in Sedona
By Dennis, 05/13/09
It was our first trip to beautiful Sedona, Arizona. We stayed two nights at the lovely SW Inn at Sedona. The location is perfect for getting around the area without being in the hustle bustle of uptown. The rooms are beautifully appointed, very comfortable and clean. We were celebrating an anniversary during our stay. There was a bottle of sparkling cider on ice and two champagne flutes waiting for us in our room the night we arrived. The staff is more than just courteous and efficient. They seem to really want to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. Their knowledge of the area and dining was spot on. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into making the SW Inn a place you would want to come back to time and again.

Best hotel decision I ever made!!
By Sheri, 04/19/09
Wanted to take my friend on a vacation for her 60th birthday and chose Sedona which is such a beautiful place. Spent hours researching hotels and ultimately chose the Southwest Inn after reading so many positive review. This was one of the best choices I have ever made. When we checked in the staff was very helpful with suggestions for places to see and where to eat. As soon as we opened the hotel room door we were extremely pleased. From the great fireplace to the flat screen TV to the double vanity area separate from the shower/toilet area. The beds were so comfortable that I wanted to take it home. The bedding is exquisite. Fabulous continental breakfast in a very pleasant setting. We only were able to stay one night before heading to Flagstaff. We wished the couple nights we spent in Flagstaff could have been spent at the Southwest Inn. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can not wait to return.

highly recommended

The rooms were just the right size and neat as a pin. Craig was a wealth of information on "what not to miss" and his recommendations were spot-on. The breakfast room was friendly and efficient. The location is also a Big Plus for hikers as SWINN is close to Boynton Canyon.

Great stay at the Southwest Inn
By jason l, 12/18/08
This was our 3rd stay at the Southwest Inn and it gets better each time. The rooms are extremely comfortable with upgraded bedding and a flat screen TV, not to mention the gas fireplace! The breakfast buffet was outstanding as well. The Southwest Inn is the only place we will stay when visiting Sedona.

Highly Recommend Southwest Inn
By thomas27, 10/13/08
This is my first travel review, which I felt compelled to write, because of the outstanding time that I had at the Southwest Inn at Sedona. I have traveled through Sedona for years, and I have stayed at a number of the B&B’s, Hotels, and Inns in Sedona. I prefer the west side of town, in order to stay away from the traffic, the highway construction and general congestion downtown. The west side of town has close access to all of the premier hiking trails, and is easier to get to Phoenix, via Cottonwood. The Page Springs loop is an incredible side diversion on your way to Phoenix. By far, the Southwest Inn is the most enjoyable place to stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well appointed with touches that make you think you are at home, and not in some sterile hotel room. It’s a kick to see all of the guests out on their private balconies in the morning, wearing the complementary bathrobes-one guy even wore his to breakfast. The front desk staff and the concierge’s are all extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable about where to go, and how to get there. Everywhere you go on the property, people are smiling, and there is always someone easily available to help you out. Finally, the breakfast is definitely a step above other Inn’s, but not quite to the level of a full on B&B; however, the women in the breakfast room is a hoot!! All things considered, including price to value, I highly recommend the Southwest Inn.
