Vacation terror!!

When we arrived, we had a good impression of the hotel. Two 2 hours later, our vacation was a disaster. During that time, it had rained and we arrived back at our room to find the top of the window seal hanging down with water dripping onto the air conditioner, floor and bed. Maintenence was called and all he did was placed towels over the water drenched areas. We called the management and they said there were no rooms available and there was nothing they could do. They mentioned if we needed additional towels we could get them at the front desk. It would have nice for them to bring them to our room. So we had to endure a night of a musty, wet room, wet bed and a noisy air conditioner along with the bugs in the bathroom. The swimming pool was filled with hot water and chlorine was so strong it burnt your eyes. The stairs in pool were covered with what looked to be yellow/green mold. One of our keys didn't work, but the front desk said for me to use our other key and they could replace them only if BOTH keys did not work. So, I had to wait on my husband to return to the hotel in order to get into the room.
The next morning, we awoke with NO water in the entire hotel. The front desk stated "the entire town is without water due to a break in the main water line." That wasn't completely true, the break occurred in the area neighborhood. Anyway, it was a disaster. The continental breakfast was limited. NO shower or water for personal use. The front desk did not offer bottled water or a later check-out time. The staff was rude and uncooperative.
We, like others that day, cut our vacation short. There is one thing for sure, I bet the hotel had plenty of rooms on the next night!!!!!
