Windy Hills Guest House, Cheyenne

I stayed in the South Spa Room. It had an incredible view of hills and a lake (which I walked to). It wasn't just a room. It was like a little house. Two walls of the place were covered w/ windows so it felt like I was submersed in the area. It was a short drive off the Interstate which added to its beauty. The caretaker prepared delicious food, and she welcomed my dog (though he wasn't allowed on any of the furniture). As a woman traveling across country w/her dog, I couldn't have felt more safe. It really is the best place I've ever stayed at. It was a bit pricey for my budget, but I am so glad that I splurged! I only wish that I had stayed longer to rest, hike, and use the hot tub.
