I booked on-line trying to be close to airport and conservative on price. Was not sure about it as I asked for a conformation number and was told "just say Patel booked it". She also told me it had only about 35 units so I was skeptical. Turned out to be very nice; clean; got in late and had no problem registering. Asked for a wake up call and no problem. Got up and was only about 3-4 miles from airport. No big frills but a lot for reasonable price,

Unless you would like to be awakened every morning by electric sawing and hammering, do NOT stay here. They are completely remodeling the bottom half of the motel. The front desk staff was rude and unapologetic for the disruption. The maid knocked on our door, and when told to come back in an hour, replied, "an hour is too long!" "I will come back in 30 minutes." I was pretty taken aback. The room was clean and new...no frills! It is about 20 feet from I-5, so expect traffic noise as well. Very close to NBC studios.

On the outside, this appears to just be your average motel, but I was very pleasantly suprised when I stayed here. The room was perfectly clean, with all new everything (there must have been a recent renovation) and the most comfortable pillow-top mattress I have ever slept on anywhere. My mother had oxygen delivered, and this was handled very well, including the motel personnel realizing that the oxygen company had the dates wrong. If not for them, she may not have had the oxygen she needed! This motel also had the most reasonable rates around, and for that reason and the high quality of the room, I will definitely be staying here everytime I visit family in the LA area.
