We loved it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/10
When we booked our stay at Forest Hills it was with a little hesitation. We had read some bad reviews of other guests but took a chance anyway. I'm so glad we did because we had a wonderful stay there. They treated us like friends, and thats something you don't find at most hotels. There wasn't anything that we lacked; the breakfast was very nice, the staff was very friendly and always smiling, the place was very neat and clean, and we are looking forward to next years function in the area. I learned not to trust reviews of other people when traveling because some people can't find anything nice to say about anything. Hi Katheren and Michelle. From Al and Sue.

I Will Come Back
By tom kole, 12/19/09
I was on business in Prescott and opted to book at Forest Villas Hotel because I wanted a change from the chain brand. I was pleasantly surprised, particularly with their inviting lobby and high level of service. The room met my expectations. The beds were very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. The gentleman servicing the continental breakfast seemed to enjoy his job and provided great service. Most noteworthy, I had to cut my trip short unexpectedly and had just over three hours to be at the airport for my flight out (the drive to the airport trip is about two hours). I made the front desk aware of this. The lady in charge at the front desk insisted that I focus on packing my bags while she arranged an airport shuttle for me. Thanks to her efforts, I made it to my flight on time. This was a refreshing experience. Thank you.

Great value and beautiful hotel
By Frank, 2/29/08
Forest Villas was a great change from most hotel chains which are a dime a dozen. The building and grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very clean and rates quite reasonable. The continental breaksfast has a good variety. A fitness center is available, wireless internet is free. The whole place has a warm appeal to it and the people that work there are really helpful.

A keeper
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/08
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip away from Phoenix, and it was quite nice. The views from this place are pretty good, and the garden is well kept. The staff was hospitable, and the pianist on Sunday was superb. They told us the place is like 12 or 13 years old, and we couldn't believe it; it looks new. Internet was FREE, too. We are definitely coming back.

Beautiful place with very nice staff!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/08
We had such a nice time. There's a more personal approach to the service in this place - we wanted to try out a non-chain hotel and we got lucky! The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very nice. I especially loved the touch of having a pianist on Sunday morning to go along with breakfast.

we will be back
By Mary Jane, 8/8/07
We enjoyed our three night stay. Our room was very nice. The staff was wonderful, especially Carla, she is a gem. There was a nice variety of items for breakfast. The only complaint would be the hotel is looking a little. A makeover would be a good idea. New carpet and paint. It is a lovely hotel and could be a great hotel.

It was fine.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/19/07
I spent one night on a business trip to Prescott. The experience, while not exceptional, was fine. I dealt with several of the staff and they were polite and helpful. I had a room with a nice view and it was quiet. Parking was convenient and the workout room suited my needs.

Don't EVER stay there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/15/07
I have never had as negative a travel experience as I had at Forest Villas. They refused to honor a confirmed reservation made through Expedia and charged me $100 more for a room that was weird and smokey. They were rude, abrasive, accusatory and unyielding. I advise you to stay anywhere else but there.

What a Disspointing Experience!
By Cherie, 10/2/06
To whom it may concern, My fiancé and I found Forrest Villas through Orbtiz. We were looking for a quaint hotel on line, and thought it was a perfect choice for us as we looked for accommodations while in Prescott to have our engagement photo’s taken. Unfortunately, several things marred our visit. To begin with, being on the first floor, we had 2 different families with small children on our floor running up and down the hallways, yelling and screaming at 7:00am, and no action was taken by the hotel to quiet them. The worst part was when we were actually taking our Engagement photographs. We assumed a quaint hotel such as this would not mind being featured in this kind of activity. However, a man, who indicated he was the owner (older, white haired), was very rude to our photographer, demanding to know if we were guests of the hotel. This was followed by a somewhat rude cleaning lady asking when we would be leaving because she needed to windex the glass table we were sitting at. Furthermore, I asked for a slightly delayed check out due to our occupation with the pictures, and was informed the “best” the empty hotel could do for me was 30 extra minutes. All in all, our experience was very disappointing, and not worth the room rate we paid. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family, nor will our photographer who is in the service business and lives in Prescott (there by exposed to many people looking for referrals in the area.)

just awful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/30/06
The manager is reallly rude! I called to ask why my friends had been given a lower rate (same dates/same room type), but he repeatedly interrupted me. He said he would raise my friends' rate! I asked about customer service; he said that I was "wasting his time." We won't be staying there--neither will our friends!
