Disillusion

The first impression I got from the hotel was an architecturally pleasant building with an exquisite decoration that confirmed the published photos I had seen. My first disappointment was with the beach. Access to the beach was done through the roads of a residential area not offering neither privacy nor an adequate level of security. The beach itself was quite an unattractive dark sanded beach that at high tide was left with a line of rocks and a narrow strip of sand. The hotel is quite isolated from commercial and leisure areas so activity is dependant on the hotel's few facilities. On the other hand the hotel has very few services and most are ridiculously highly over priced (e.g. 60 Euro for a beach hut for 2 persons, 20 Euro per hour for Internet access, 17 Euro for a Toast etc). Fortunately I had a car to seek other options.
Many other things happened during my stay that are probably circumstantial but as facts I would like to point them out: we had ants in our bed, some bed sheets were quite worn and had holes, mini bar consumptions were added to our bill (later on they were removed), Pay TV was added to our bill (passed undetected), no English newspaper available all day (very few papers for so many people), etc.
I have been to many five star hotels and this is by all means the worst I have stayed in. The service is not to level, the value for money is low ... I do not recommend this hotel.
