great holiday

I was staying at the Park Hotel in Aug/Sept 2004. I must say i had an excellent time. The hotel was nice and had a lovely pool. For beach lovers the beach was just a stonesthrow away with miles of golden sand. Warm blue/green sea. The local pubs and clubs also a stonesthrow away were lively, albeit a bit pricey. The women were fantastic, stunning and you could drink to 3 or 4 in the morning and not wake up with a bad hangover- excellent. The local restaurants were of a high standard. The weather was excellent in the 30's still at that time of year. Ravenna city only 10 minutes away if you want to explore further. Watch out for the roads if you are driving. For the Americans out there you'll have to get used to European culture. You can often find yourself driving along on a two way road doing 80 mph or so and a car will appear comming towards you overtaking cars. Don't panic just pull over to the left. Ther's plenty of room for three cars. All in all i had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone. Oh and if you get a chance I would urge all Americans to take a visit to Lido Di Dante About 15 minutes drive South. It's a naturist beach. Don't worry you don't have to go nude. There you will see some sights and i don't just mean people of ALL ages lying about naked. Look out for wooden sticks marking an area on the beach. There you will see couples etc doing what couples do best. No inhabitions. Then you will see just how liberal we Europeans are and how unliberal and how unfree you Americans are. You keep telling the world how free you are yet you can't drink till you're 21, can't have sex till you're 18and cant even go topless on 99% of your beaches. You've probably got more restrictive laws than anyone but you can't see it because you're government keeps telling you what wonderful democracy you live in. You live in a police state and until you come to Europe you'll never find out what freedom and culture is about. Thanks for listening.
