Quality Hotel Westminster, London

For a four star hotel it was abysmal here is a list so take your pick.. 1. No hot water...which they later conceed to knowing about so moved us to another room 2. Paper thin towels 3. Soap not replaced after the room had been cleaned, had to continually ask for this everyday and it would normally take upto 20 minutes to be brought to the room 4. Hotel staff caught snooping in the room after it had been cleaned, and when asked why they were in the room they just said Oh we made a mistake with the room number... Never coming back to this hotel again, this is for sure.

London is one of those cities that you should expect to pay a premium for a hotel that is also livable. But, this place is reasonably priced (for London) and the rooms are nice and clean. And it is tough to beat the location. Excellent access to the tube and trains.

We based our travels in the south of England around this hotel, which is located just near Victoria Station, bookending around a guided tour. The rooms are not large, but clean and with much better beds than in a quite pricey hotel we'd stayed in during the tour. You're also within easy walking distance of inexpensive food sources (e.g. Sainsbury's), and a bit further walk gets you to some of the best parts of London. We absolutely *loved* this place. In short, if you're looking for the ultimate in luxury during your stay in London, look elsewhere. But if you're looking to stay in a great location at a reasonable price, this is a terrific pick.
