Rochester Champs-Elysees Hotel, Paris

The most helpful concierge we've met in many years! Can walk most anywhere, with easy access to Metro, Champs and shopping. Rooms were very neat and clean, as were updated baths. The morning breakfast buffet DOES NOT come with the room (in spite of what we were told by the maitre d') At $22 euro per person, its a ripoff by Paris standards. We will stay there again

The hotel was perfectly placed near the Champs Elysee. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants and metro just around the corner. The halls smelled like an old persons home. The beds were too short and the comforters just didnt feel clean :( You MUST request a room with the view of the courtyard! Trust me! The other rooms with the view of the street are Terrable! I couldnt sleep....you could hear all the cars honking, the people yelling and the nightclubs booming all the way until 6am! When I told the front desk that I couldnt sleep and it was an absolute nightmare they didnt care. It honestly sounded like I was in a Nightclub! The elevators only fit 2 people at a time. I have never seen such a thing! Bathrooms were remodeled so that was nice. I would overall reccommend this hotel because of the location. But it seems as though people were packing in their whole families into one room. When people close the doors it sounds like slamming! One thing to remember if you stay here (Get a room with the courtyard view!)
