ibis Annecy Centre Vieille Ville, Annecy

Since our last stay at an Ibis hotel was excellent, we went in with very high expectations. We were slightly disappointed -- the hotel was only good. After getting over this disappointment, our only knock against the hotel was that it was not brand new. For its age, it was very clean, and we had a wonderful stay. This hotel has probably the best location of any hotel in Annecy. Its five minutes from the train/bus station, right on the canal, and you can get into the old town without leaving the covered walkways -- a huge plus since it rained on us several times. The breakfast buffet is a relative bargain at 6.50 Euro, and the room price is fair.
