BEST WESTERN Champlain France Angleterre, La Rochelle

I am sure if you have a room in the old part of the hotel or at the back then it would be very nice. We were right on the street and so it was noisy, even with the shutter down (Road sweepers out at 6am every morning) The air conditioning was turned off (it was the beginning of October but very warm) but the windows couldn't be opened. In spite of requesting a change of room, or that the air con be put back on,our pleas fell on deaf ears. 5 VERY uncomfortable nights sleep. Certainly not the rest we had hoped for. On the plus side the location was excellent for exploring the town and parks.
