well to start with all the information supplied about this hotel even on the hotels own website is out dated or doesn't provide enough details. This hotel is in one of the best locations in the city, everything is within walking distance. The hotel has 3 restrants, sevilla(spainish style, but extremly good food), Adjutantti pub (a relaxed pub good to sit and smoke a cigar in whilst enjoying a glass of congac) and then the newly opened President Club (during the weeks it ain't really worth visiting but friday and saturday it is really the place to be, there was a live band everytime i visited, starting around 23:00 but that is when everyone goes there, but i recomend going around 21-22:00 and beating the rush and eating in the clubs lounge style restrant, great food again.) The value for money again is remarkable, there is a new package deal which allows guest in the hotel to stay one night with checkout before 14:00 the next day and entry into the club (which alone is about 10-20�, depending on the band and day of the week) for about 60�. so for anyone just passing through helsinki like me it's worth the stop. My line of business brings me to finland all the time and i've stayed almost everywhere, and eaten in almost every restrant, The president is really your one stop for value for money.
