I travel a lot with work and have stayed in a combination of nice cheap places, bad cheap places, nice expensive places and the Hilton, Caracas (expensive, bad).
It's an old hotel and it shows (not in the classy sense).
I'm staying for a week when every hotel in Caracas is full so have had to pay over USD $250 for a room on the "executive floor". The room is basic, small tv with bad reception, a broken phone and decor/fittings from the 60s. The bathroom is worse.
Internet access is not included in any room here and is available at USD $15 extra a day. It's via cable modem and patchy at best. The executive lounge has 3 computers connected to the internet, only one of which can be used for a laptop. There is no WLAN.
Breakfast is included in my rate. It's a buffet combination of cornflakes, juice, fruit. Nothing special and the fruit wasn't even fresh.
The staff are nice but that's about all I can recommend. Stay somewhere else if you can.
