Big entrance, but little sitting facilities in reception to waite for collection/taxis etc. Bar area encrouches on dining area and you have to make use of the bar seating whilst waiting for pick up. Close to main street but the street in which the hotel is situated has some very questionable establishments. The first room we had was adequate for a short stay but the one on our return was small and if we had been large people we would have struggled in the small bathroom. the pool was very good although overlooked by the rear of other buildings which seemed mostly in need of repair.

Great experience!

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were on the small side, but when one is on vacation in BA one does not spend much time in the room. The location was perfect for discovering BA and perfect for shopping. Gallerias Pacifico is a block away!!

A terrific hotel

We liked everything about this hotel. Great service, staff, and location as well. Do not miss dinner at the hotel resteraunt. I had the best lamb chops ever. This is at the very least a 4 star hotel, but I give it a 5 as it is every bit a as good as an Intercontinental Hotel.

Excellent Hotel!!!

This hotel was very clean, convenient, and well located - i.e. short walk distance from famous Florida Street. Everyone working in the hotel was very kind and always willing to help. Overall, an excellent choice for your next vacation.

Top Hotel in Buenos Aires

The Hotel is in Tucuman Street at half a block from Florida, in the top shoping district. This location is nearby Teatro Colon, San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Mayo, the Congress and the Casa Rosada (President headquarters) There are many shoppings located over the Florida streed (walking only, no vehicles alouded) - The Hotel has great service, you may ask for Hernan in the Restaurant, and he will give you a lunch or diner to remember. The place has style, mixing an English atmosphere with the nearby city. Working days expect streets to be crowded but weekends are very quiet. A place I always look forward to visit again.

Firetrap with shiny floors

Hotel managed to give away our prepaid rooms for two days. Hotel was cramped, overpriced and very warm with no airconditioning. The only way to get cool air was to open the windows and then we had very loud traffic noise and the threat of intruders. Staff was very impolite and the noise from the bar was unbearable. The front desk was a very unpleasant place. The Hotel had given our rooms away because we were Late! We arrived at 9pm and had prepaid a week before. With service like this we are going to cross off the Claridge and world wide affiliates for life. M

Don't walk alone at night

This hotel is in a gritty neighborhood that quite frankly is unsafe to walk at night. During the day it is fine. It is not as convenient a location as advertised. Very clean. Excellent in that category. Service is slow and God forbid, don't eat there. The food is awful. The eggs swim at breakfast and there is no creativity to it. The drinks in the bar are well made but it takes you half an hour to be watied on. I would not stay here again. 3 star at best. Never a five as advertised on some sites and certainly not a four in most categories. A bargain, yes, but not worth it. Other hotels a little more in price are better.

friendly staff. good service.nice and quiet room.very good location. close to pedestrian street and shoppingmall. nice restaurants in neighbourhood. watch out for pocket thiefs on pedestrian street.

There is nothing to dislike. It is a great hotel...great service, clean, convenient location, makes you feel "at home." The Buffet breakfast has everything that you would want.

Never Again

We got there after 6pm and they had given our room away, and said they were full. Then they pretended not to speak any English, but I being a Spanish speaker, proceeded to argue with the concierge and asked for the manager. He apologized and gave us a shoebox of a room. I called Claridge hotels in the US and complained and they gave me a full refund, but this place was not worth the hassle.
