Hotel Mopan, Belize City

it was way to cold in the rooms, but other then that it is awesome and i love the food its great and very very good

My experience ay Mopan Hotel was excellent! You can't beat it for the price. The owners Tom & Jeanne are kind and helpful. Leon is cool and gives directions and advice, even watching out for me on the street late one night. As a religious worker I will soon return and stay at hotal Mopan again. Rev. John P. McFadden

We traveled to Belize with a church group for a mission project. We all stayed at the Hotel Mopan. The staff was incredible. I love the people there and can't wait to go back sometime. T & K Indiana

I just return from Belize on 3/18/05 and find myself missing its laid back lifestyle and friendly people. I spent a week in Belize and came to think of the Hotel Mopan as my home away from home. The rooms are simple and the staff is friendly. If your looking for modern conveinces Hotel Mopan is not the place for you. But for only 35 - 45 dollars a night the rooms comes with a beds, tv, and ceiling fan. Some rooms come wtih AC for an additional 10 dollars. I think the best thing that Hotel Mopan has to offer is location, reasonable pricing and its friendly/helpful staff. I've been back in Houston only 1 day but all that I seem to think about is the romantic nights I spent at the Hotel Mopan overlooking the water and gazing into my honey eyes.
