Kapok Hotel, Port of Spain

no hot water for two days, the rooms are not up to date. hotel was empty. resturants empty and very little choices available on menu. must have picked a bad time of year will never go back

love it love to go back best hotel ive ever been to you would be a fool not to go there

first time my fiancé and i set our feet into that hotel we felt as if we were in paradise the bar, pool, and staff are so magnificent the first night we spent was the first night that we ever made passionate love i suggested that it was because we were away from family and friends and of course work but then we realized it was the environment. if you love to eat you'll enjoy the food and the drinks are fantastic Scenery very romantic if you are booking make sure and get a bedroom which is located at side where you can port of spain at night this really brings that passionate mood, the location very great if you want to shop it's just a "footstep away" I'll recommend this hotel to all couples newly wed,waiting to be and those who have already. My fiancé thinks that for our honeymoon we should come back he's even thinking of keeping the wedding there. all members of staff my fiancé and i will like to thank you all for your lovely treatment which we have received on our stay.

The room was quite large and very clean, room service was fast and polite, the staff in the top floor "Tiki" restaurant were very helpful but the best is the staff in the first floor "Bois Cano" bar and restaurant who help make the loneliest guest feel part of the group, thank you to all of them.

This was the only hotel available for the date. That was about the only thing that I liked. The lobby was pretty (colorful), the employees were not very friendly. The hotel looked like they were doing repairs and arrangements. It seemed unclean and overall the price was a bit high for the rooms appearance. The breakfast was plenty and overall okay.

everything was so excilent the people was so carm and friendly i love that country its just beautiful the room service was so fast respectful i love the pool the food was so delicious i like everything about that country its really the best and i'm so happy my brother's told me about this country i have to go back again someday

The rooms are small but have more amenities than most other hotels, kitchenets, etc. Many rooms are newly remodeled. Very nice restaurant on the top floor.
