San Juan Plaza Hotel, Santurce

I visit Puerto Rico at least twice a year for business- I think this hotel rocks for the price. It is close to the beach, has a nice hot tub, close to old San Juan. I have stayed here more than 6 times.

We stayed there 2 years in a row for pre-cruise. Both times we were very happy with the location and the price. There is a great beach just a short walk from the Hotel.

Three friends and I stayed for four days. The rooms were clean, but a little small. The hotel staff was very friendly as well as helpful. The swimming pool was very small, but again everything was clean.

Room was clean and bedding was great. very comfortable king size. People at front deak were great in giving us tips in where to eat, shop ect. Continental breakfast was VERY minimul but what can you expect for the price. Clean and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bus to Old san Juan

Centrally located between the airport and Old Town makes it fairly convenient for day excursions. A taxi to Old Town is $12 each way, I do not recommend walking to old town as we saw was an option somewhere on the internet. The hotel was clean, our room was comfortable and although not large it had plenty or room for us and had a small walk in closet for all our luggage. It is within walking distance to a couple casinos and a few high end and several moderately priced stores. The contenintal breakfast was as varied as we have seen. It included hard boiled eggs, several hot and cold cereal selections along with the typical danish and of course fresh bananas. It is within walking distance to several resturants, from chains like Chili's to very small local resurants. Internet was available in the room and there were two hotel computers available that we found seldom in use. I hope this information was helpful to you.

The parking is very limited, I was told to find something on the street. The room was dirty and small. The hallway and elevator stunk. This is not what I expected from a H-I Express.

this hotel was awesome!!! small but awesome pool and jacuzzi.....CHEAP...And located right next to a public park with a beach!!! i recomend this to everyone singles, couples, and students AMAZING!!! no bad expiriences + hotel staff rcoks in every way

We stayed in this Holiday Inn in November of 06. We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist who was always very helpful to us. She gave us all the info we needed to get around San Juan. The room was small and there seemed to be a problem with the air conditioner. But we weren't in our room a whole lot so we weren't really bothered by it. Very clean and in a nice area. I loved the fact that there was free internet access!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for one week in January. Everything was very clean and neat. The lobby was sunny and bright, the elevator always worked. The pool was small, but almost always empty. It very clean, if not a little cold. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk to everything in the main Condado area like restaurants, stores, beaches, and other hotels and casinos. There is a nice beachside park at the end of the block where there was nightly live music and dancing. You could even walk to Old San Juan if you are ambitious, if not, the bus line is right down the block. The rooms themselves were small, 2 double beds, a tv, chairs and table set, etc. However, we had enough room to move and do everything one would need to do in the hotel. The bathroom was tiny, however it was very clean and neat. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would most definitely stay again. A major plus was the free internet access in the rooms.

Our family of 7 stayed there for a holiday vacation and it was great. We were steps from the beach, a short distance from Old San Juan, and for the price you could not beat it. Our family consists of 5 children and me and my wife so we had to book to rooms and it worked out really well.
