Terrific Place!!
By Gail, 6/14/12
I loved everything about my stay. I was there from April 25, 2012 to May 2nd. The room was spacious, very nice and clean. Loved the breakfast buffets, listening to the water brook below, the scent of the flowers in the air, with a slight breeze blowing through, it made a real impression on me. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. I would highly reccomend this hotel.

ughhhh
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/11
The less said about it the better. I followed the recommendations here and was disappointed. Totally over-rated. Were these glorious reviews written by the owners of this establishment?? I checked out and went to another property- Spanish Court Hotel.

The brunch was the best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/29/07
I was at the Terra Nova on August 12, 2007 at their Sunday Brunch. I was there with my sister-in-law and a friend The brunch was the best, all 3 of us enjoyed the great food and the variety was the best, the customer service, very pleasant people. The friend that was with my sister-in-law and I (we live in the States) said she will have to tell her husband and sons about this. She cant wait to go back oh the Steel band was the best, also the young may who was the security guard that afternoon. its good to have people like that working for this hotel. God bless and I wish you all the best. I hope next time i will be able to stay at this hotel. The only thing i did not like, I had to pay ja$100. to use the telephone for our drive to get us.

What a ripoff
By Karien, 5/9/07
We stayed at this hotel during the Cricket World Cup and found the staff hugely unfriendly and unwilling to help. The prices were obviously bumped up to rip off the influx of tourists for the World Cup. Also, when there are functions on (I think it was a wedding when we were there) guests are refused access to the swimming pool!

What an Experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/06
Terra Nova is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in the Caribbean! The service staff are so wonderful and friendly and seem as if they genuinely care that you enjoy your stay. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is as warm as bath water and the food is heavenly. There is a wonderful little casino attached to the hotel with complimentary food and drinks all night so in your spare time there is always something to do. Very close to the Bob Marley museum and anything else you could want to see in Kingston, this place is a must stay for anyone visiting the capital.

Can't wait to return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/7/06
Some of the things I like includes: the quiet, clean atmosphere, the location of the hotel is key it is close to everyhere I need to visit, staff is friendly and attentive, most of all the the food is great. What I dislike: I wish room service didn't take so long, but I can live with that.

This is a really cool hotel
By David, 8/25/06
I am writing this review as I am flying back home and reflecting on my stay at the Terra Nova Hotel in August 2006 which was filled with pleasant surprises. I was thoroughly impressed with the polite, friendly but professional demeanor of the staff. I stayed in a Standard room, which is one of the less expensive rooms. I found it spacious, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was like nothing that I have ever seen, even at some of the biggest name Hotels, and it was free or included in the room rate. The surrounding is warm and inviting and I felt a sense of security and privacy. The A/C was cold and the water pressure good. This is the first place that I have done business in Jamaica and left there with the impression that my money was well spent and I was not short changed. The management there truly aims to be hospitable. If you are like me, going to Jamaica but uncertain about where to stay, you are missing a treat if you did not stay at Terra Nova.

much more than I expected
By M, 5/18/06
This is a great hotel. The staff were very attentive and accomdating. I can't compare this hotel to the various other four and five star hotels in the major US markets (i.e., Atlanta, NY, LA), it was better! You won't be disappointed.
