Having never written any reviews before, I felt I had to write something about this place! I have used these review sites on many occasions and wondered if people go to the same place at times! When I first got to this place, both my husband and I thought, 'Oh, my gosh, where have we come to, this is not what we thought it would be'. We both wanted to cry, having spent so much money on it! Ok the journey is long from the airport, but every holiday brochure I have seen doesn't hide that fact! Now, having only been back 'tree' days and no thats not spelt wrong, thats the way its said over there, we want to go back. Our daughters are going back to live there, permanently. It's the best place ever! Ok, the place needs a bit of paint and a general make over, but hey, its like the best book in the world that has been read a thousand times, but the cover is a bit ragged. Look beyond that! The people, the staff, the attitude of each and every one of them, puts so many other places to shame. When you see how they live in the surrounding areas, I don't understand how anyone can complain about this place. The food, the cocktails, the 'irie man', its the best! As for service, we didn't need to lift a finger, they would even do that for you. On the beach, in the bar, in the restaurants, anything you wanted - it was there! And if you go with the kids, well you will never see them - does it get any better than that? Anyone complaining about this place wants something to complain about! Get yourself booked - you'll love it! Final tip - get yourself booked into the Red Lane Spa for a treatment - enjoy! And treat yourself to a candlelit dinner on the beach -amazing! Add a little romance......

The bus ride to the hotel is awful. 3 Hours plus. The hotel is not that clean. Food service is ok, food quality is low. Drink availabilty requires a long hike. We went with 18 and we all paid the same yet some of us had closets for rooms and others had ocean views and pivate patios. We were without power in are bathroom for the first two days and it was just a breaker. It poped three times, which I understand, but to get them to flip it required 3 phone calls and a trip to the front desk each time. I wish I knew where the box was. If you want a family vacation worth every penny go disney cruise, you can not beat it. Top of the line everything and no expenses spared and no detailed missed. Will no return to Beaches.

Lots of fun!!! There is always something to do with the kids, no matter the age!! Young,Old....They have alot of activites,for everyone!! I must say the staff IS the BEST EVER!!!!!! they never thought twice about anything you asked for they just brought it to you....THEY WERE THE BEST ALWAYS!!!!!

We visited Beaches Boscobel in April and it was perfect!! We got married at the resort and could not have asked for anything better. The trip from Montego Bay was long, but we have never been to Jamaica so it was all new to us and we were just happy to be on vacation. When your at the resorts you dont really get a taste of the "real" Jamaica and how poor they really are.So the bus ride was also a learning experience. As far as the resort itself, check in was smooth. There were about 15 in our party and we all were in our rooms within 30 minutes. Our room was very nice no complaints what so ever. Service was excellent as were the meals. Not one person in our group had any complaints. The wedding consultant, Kesha was awesome she made our wedding day great!! We plan on returning next year.

Beaches Boscobel was our first all-inclusive vacation, and it was a great experience for our entire family. This is a place that caters to families... lots of planned activities throughout the day for kids, parents and all. You can always find something to do. Our room was comfortable with convenient access to the pool. Service was friendly, and the entire staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. Speed was slower than what I expected, but once we adjusted to "Jamaican" speed, everything was OK. There are four restaurants, and the food was surprisingly good in terms of choice and quality. The Venetian Restaurant by far has the slowest service ... plan for extra time to eat there. Prepare yourself for a long transfer from Montego Bay to the resort. Each trip averaged 2.5 hours. Bring your Drammamine for a bumpy ride. :)

What can i say i loved everything about this resort. This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life and i have been all over Europe, the U.S, Canada, and to Mexico. At this resort I stayed a week and there was always something to do. I still had so much to see and do when i left and i did something everyday i was at the resort. All the people working at the hotel were extremely friendly. They would help you with anything you asked for. There was about a 4 hour drive from the airport, but I thought it was great seeing all of Jamaica and the people. I would go back to this resort tomorow in a heart beat.

We just got back from Boscobel last night. Although the second half of our vacation was rainy we loved the resort. The service is impeccable...sometimes we had to wait for things but in Jamaica everything is "No problem" We Americans just need to learn to slow down! We like the layout of the resort and the game room is a definite plus for kids. I had my hair braided by the lovely ladies at the resort spa, more money then the ladies outside the resort but more sanitary. The staff is very friendly and made our stay feel like we were with family by the end. The bus ride in was a little long but interesting. The food was pretty good and drinks for the most part were great. I recommend the Jamaican Delight made especially by Raymond at the main bar!

We feel sorry for any family that decides to take a vacation at this resort. while they claim to be children and family oriented,they were not!!! We had to pay (at an all-inclusive resort) for our children to eat breakfast with the characters. When we arrived, upon going to our room, the private deck was lined with 2 dozen beer bottles. what a great way to start our family vacation. Also, someone had gotten sick on the sidewalk and it stayed there for 2 days. We had to walk around it for 2 days!!!! On Wed. all the restaurants were closed except for 2. One was adult only and the other was italian. Even the buffet was closed. When we questioned them, they said there were not enough people there to support all the restaurants. Where we given a discount, NO!!!! The kids pool closed at 4pm in the afternoon. The Xgames closed at 10pm. The entrie resort looked like they were closing. It was extremely run down. We took plenty of pictures to prove our point. The only positive to the entire trip was the staff on the grounds. They went out of their way to be kind to us and our children. The management was aweful!!!!! Just wanted to prevent some other poor soul from wasting their hard earned money on a trip like this. I have never written a review before, but just thought it was important to let you know.

There were so many disappointments about the resort that I don't know where to start. The staff was fabulous. But the food was terrible. Some of it seemed to be left-overs from the day before with a gravy or something else added to it to make it different. The room service was lacking. We had to argue to keep our proper rooms (with or without view or beach) There were spiders in the coffee pot. There were no services on the beach. If you wanted a drink you had to go the main area by the pool to get one. I won't go on any further. I know that I will never stay at this resort again.

Our party of 9, including 5 children ages 3-12, stayed for 6 nights. Everything was wonderful! We had beautiful ocean-front rooms with concierge service, which was a definite bonus and made our stay extremely comfortable. Everyone had a great trip! There were lots of kid-friendly activities on and off the resort - our kids even enjoyed the kids camp. We also utilized the nanny service and went into town to Margaritaville one night; we had great nannies and felt extremely comfortable leaving our kids with them. The food was always good, and again very kid-friendly. This was an ideal family vacation, and we'll definitely return!
