Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand, Zona Hotelera

we visited this hotel a couple of years ago. the place is "Valhalla." the food was to "die for". the place was CLEAN and the staff made us feel most welcomed. the Mariachi Band was a nice touch too. i'd give this place a 6 star rating..... 82 degrees F during the day and 75 degrees F at night. always a beautiful breeze blowing too. we'd go again in a heartbeat.

Overall great vacaction due to the company! However, the food was very disappointing. We were there for five nights was not planning on eathing outside of the restort but ate in the city a few times due to bad food within the resort. We had plumbing issues three out the five nights. Management was quick with resolving these issues but overall managment customer service was not helpful when we had a room issues upon first arriveing. Definitely not worth the money.

I just got back from this place and had to write a review. This place was awesome! The food was good, it was very clean and everyone that worked there always had a smile on there face. I highly recommend this place for everyone. I went with a friend, but I could imagine my family being there and having a great time. Oh, and about the people that got herpes, that has nothing to do with the hotel, it's just like sitting on a toilet seat, put something down first! The food was awesome for buffet style and if you take the time to make reservation, which really isn't that big of a deal, the food in those restaurants are excellent!

I'm 15 years old, and I stayed at this hotel when I was 3 years old and this past december; the only difference is that the peacocks don't come around anymore. I can't find ONE negative thing about this place. The service is EXCELLENT, the food is EXCLLENT, the people are incredibly nice, the rooms are great, the beach and pool are great. I layed on multiple beach chairs everyday and I never got 'herpes.' The waiters are so nice, the bartenders are so nice, the manager is so nice, EVERYBODY IS SO NICE. I had a few small small problems, but they were taken care of IMMEDIATLEY. My mom has been coming back here for years, she still doesn't have 'herpes' and she's never said anything negative about it. Not only is this "Beware of Dangers" lady overexaggerating, but I'm willing to bet she made half of it up. Not to bring my teenager attitude into this, but I believe that the waiters and chefs deserve a much higher salary- more than 2 or 3$ a day. That is the only complaint I have. I love love LOVE this hotel, and I would live there if I had the choice. Thank you. :)

The Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand was absolutely amazing! The beach was the best, the food was tasty and well presented, the staff was nice and accommodating. Great location. I will absolutely go back. Any negative reviews are completely bogus. Edith was my daughter's wedding planner and she was the BEST!!!!! I highly recommend her.

cancun's all inclusive means all inclusive target style; it's clean, pretty, it has everything and that's about it; don't expect surf & turf, champaigne and massage in a cabana on the beach; having said that, cancun's all inclusives represent great values and cancun caribe is a prime example of those; latest travel alerts and some of the reviews painted a pretty scary picture; what i found is hard working people in a very well maintained beach resort doing everything for the visitor's pleasure and enjoyment; the resort is very safe and so is the rest of cancun if you use common sense; here are some tips: food is available 24/7 but don't expect greatness; the buffet is food sam's club style and the cafe serves sandwiches, salads and fruits 24/7; the italian and oriental restaurants (you must make a reservation between 12 and 3) have nice ambiance with okay food); room service is available until 11:00 p.m.; room minibars provide four bottles of water, four beers and four soft drinks per day plus coffee; internet and gym are extras; each room is equipped with a safe, iron and dryer. There are two pools; the higher level one is nicer; the cabanas are limitted so it's best to get up early and throw a towel or some personal belongings on one to reserve it; find out which pool bar is attended by sergio and stick with him; he is a great barman and will give you a lot of helpful tips about what to do in cancun and the surroundings; did i mention that cancun appears very safe; i went there prepared to withstand drug wars, shootings, kidnappings, etc. There are dangers in cancun and i'll rate those accordingly: 1. Powerful surf. Don't be fooled by the turqoise water aligning the beach. It gets deep very quickly, the surf is strong and so is the undercurrent. Dip yourself in the ocean but spend most of the time in or around the pools. 2. Pushers/salesmen; the minute you step out of the resort you will be overwhelmed by people selling anything and everything. They can be very annoying and they don't recognize subtle refusals. You will be offered everything, mainly in all inclusive packages. I was approached by a sales lady downtown at the clubs at 1:00 a.m. with a 2-3 months old sleeping baby strapped to her back. Expect to be taken for a ride by the cab drivers; they'll charge you exhorbitant fees; it's better to arrange for transportation thru the resort; ask around to get the best rate as there are several companies working out of the resort; i booked my trip thru expedia, however the expedia rep at the resort gave me one of the highest estimates for rentals and trips; bottomline, we had a great time and we'll be going back again

Have nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Hotel was clean, beautiful very well maintained. Staff was always there to help (with smiles on). Food was awesome , we ate at all the hotel restaurants all very good! The hotel is in a great location near food, shopping and entertainment.Beaches were always clean. Would definitely go back!!

This hotel was awesome the place was beautiful and the service was great. We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and it's staff. The place was very clean and the food was excellent. I would recommend it to others no doubt about that.

They really take cleaningness seriously, you will see people cleaning everywhere throughout the day and night. You won't find a dirty spot in the whole hotel. The entertainment staffs were great (Diego, Maria, Oscar, Tony, Estephon). If you do like night life clubing, you won't be sorry going with them. It will cost you the same if you get the tickets to those clubs yourself but the difference going with the hotel crew is you get VIP treatment (no waiting in line, you get a table in the VIP area and a shuttle to the clubs). COCO BONGO is awesome. Beautiful views from the rooms and both of the pools are very nice. Food are average on both of the Oriental and Italian restaurants. The appetizers were good but not the entrees. The buffets is good for breakfast and the grill burgers are good too. The mexican restaurant by the pool is good for lunch. I went with Bestday shuttle roundtrip from the Airport. Great service and great price. Overall I had one of the best vacations ever and I hope my review is helpful.

Very nice beach,clean hotel and very freindly service.Only problem to me was the food and the closing of pools too early with very little entertainment. I also didn't like that we had to pay extra $$$ to use the internet. But just remember go see a doctor and get medication b4 eating Cancun food!
