The Pink Pig
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/06
I checked in, went to my room. Occupied already. Went to the second room, no TV working. Went to the third room, occupied. Went to the forth room, no running water in the sink. The electricity went off 3 times within 10 hours. Four of the cable channels had no sound. The air conditioner didn't work. The clerks charged me the wrong rate and the attitude was "Hey, I already charged your card, too bad." This is normal for this hotel. It's only selling point is that it's near the airport so you can make a quick escape. If you are dead tired and just want to sleep, get up and leave MAYBE you can stand this pig sty. There is a reason this place USED to be a Marriott.

Downhill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/05
I have been staying at this property since it was a Marriott and it goes downhill every year. It seems as though they spend more time and money on renos than on pleaseing the guests. They will always try to push you to the small, cheap rooms, no matter how much you are paying (I paid US$180 last time). I have been double billed twice and have had to have MasterCard fix it as the hotel admin staff are useless. They are even chintzing on the room amenities, no more bottled water in the room, you have go downstairs and buy it. Aside from the check in staff, the bellboys, room service, etc, are very good and helpful. My advice is, save some money and hassle and go to the Hilton or Holiday Inn. The rooms are better and staff has their act together.

Take some stress out of your itinerary!
By maridee, 5/6/05
This is THE hotel for anyone with a very early morning flight! (Or someone who is arriving very late at night and must make another connection to reach a final destination outside of Mexico City, and would prefer to travel in the morning). It takes the stress out of having to find a way to the airport in the middle of the night. A "boton" knocked on my door at 4 a.m. and escorted me through the bridge to the terminal, then found a "maletero" from Mexicana for me. I will stay there again, without a doubt. The hotel is pretty, the employees are friendly and helpful and the location is superb! No taxi is necessary--just a nice hike through the airport to the bridge where a gentleman will relieve you of your luggage and deliver it to your room. I wish I'd arrived earlier so I could have experienced some of the amenities. Next time, I'll allow for that.

Camino Real
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/2/05
Very stylish and convenient hotel in the Mexico City Airport. I found an old band-aid onthe floor and my wastebasket wasn't emptied, which made me question the cleanliness of the whole room. I handed my printout of my hotel reservation to the front desk, which also has my itinerary for the rest of my trip, and she forgot to return it to me. When I returned later, it was lost. However, there were five people there to serve me breakfast from the breakfast bar. Most unnecessary. I think it cost me around $130 or so. I suppose the design was fabulous, but overall not worth it.
