Grand Oasis Palm Resort & Spa, Cancun

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days last sumer and loved almost everyting about it, from the resturants to the views. The view from our room was beautiful and the night life was good. The only bad thing about this hotel is that it had alike of teenagers(springbreakers). They were loud and roud. Bt other than thta it was great, and very afordable. Great Location

It was GREAT! The rooms were fine, they had great views. For our money spent, we really got a great deal. If your going to Cancun, mostly its to party, so your really not in the rooms too much anyway. It's nice that there wasn't any loud music at the hotel b/c when you are there you just want to sleep! The hotel offered great activities for day and evening. Our trip was all inclusive and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend an all inclusive package. More food than we could eat and drinks. The outside food bar was awesome. I think our travel agent also contributed to our great time. She booked a boat cruise to another island and our price also included passes to several clubs which were awesome! We really had a blast. I was impressed with our entire stay. We were there in May so there were lots of other graduates and tons of tourists. The service was always friendly and lots of the staff members went out of their way to greet us and chat with us daily. The elevators were kinda slow and hard to come by, but that's anywhere. It is in a great location. We wanted to see the city so we took a taxi (in a group only) daily. The taxi's pull right up to the front of the hotel, very convenient. Buses are cheaper and available close by, but I would not recommend them. The Market Places are so much fun! The pools at the hotel were fantastic and the beach is right past them. There are kiyaks and banana boats available that were sooo much fun!! We used the comfy hammocks daily also. We did eventually get tired of the food, only because we were starting to miss home cooked food, not because it wasn't great. We were also a bit hesitant to venture off and dine anywhere else, other than the well known restaurants. Overall it was a fantastic time. I would recommend going in a group if your wanting to party and see the sites. The hotel was very pleasant.

Oasis Beach is a wonderful hotel because of what it has to offer. Its minutes away from shopping, public transit and a bank machine. A necessity on our trip. The rooms were very spacious and the staff very curtious. The one thing i found odd, was that there was not an openable window in the rooms. A big detail for those smokers looking to air out after a cigarrete. I really liked the walking distance from the rooms to the restaurants, the pool and the beach. It was very easy to find other people from our group of ten. I found it quiet and relaxing during the evenings making my meal more enjoyable. Some big hotels are so bombarded with people that it diminshes the point of getting away from city atmospheres. It was a great experience for any traveller looking to venture into Cancun, Mexico. Oasis hotels reputation is steller and one that will continue to grow through word-of-mouth advertising.

If you want a quite holiday this is the place to go.There is no disco for in the evening,just 2 local guys that came into play the same thing each night.You needed to go out to find your entertainment.As compared to it's sister hotels it was busy for the night life.The bonus out of this was it was peaceful in the evenings. The food was the worst I have ever had it was the same every night.We ended up spending more then expected because we had to go out to eat.Our rooms compared to a cheap motel,and that is our second room i'm talking about!

The name is Oasis Beach but the beach was full of sea weed and the water was shallow(about 2ft high). The food was good but the room was like a Motel and the service was SLOW.

I will be reporting this facility to the American Tourist Board as well as to the company from whom I purchased my vacation package. Shake-downs by night managers for cash ONLY for an extra night at $341.50US for a standard room or you are turned out onto the street at 10pm should be reported. Other than that, everything was fantastic!! Above all---do not get sick and have to spend an extra night. Remember, you are a foreigner.

I was impressed with our entire stay. We were there during Canadian Spring break so there were a lot of people. The service was always friendly and many of the staff even took the time to get to know our names and find out about our daily adventures. The food was way above my expectations for the whole week. The only downfall is that the elevators are really slow, but to us it was not a big deal.. We are aleady planning our trip back next year and will not hesitate to stay at the same place.
