Terrible experience

It was my first visit to Quebec City in winter on Jan. 11, 2008. The experience we had with Clarion Hotel was really terrible.
On January 12, 2008, early morning about 4:00 a.m., I went to the washroom and as soon as I used the Flush…. Guess what happen??? It over flooded.... Making the washroom looked like a swimming pool.
I called a room service. So, some one at customer service replied, it will be fixed in the morning when the Janitor comes to work. So, I asked, till then what? I have two kids… What if they want to use the washroom anytime? The washroom is flooded…. So, someone said, O.K. I will send night guard to check. The night guard came, but she could not do anything except putting tons of bath towels on the floor to clean the flooded water…
Then, I called again, now what? How can I use the washroom? So, customer service replied, O.K. you can use the washroom down stairs… I said, from 6th floor, how can I send my child, if they wake up in the middle of the night or early morning down stairs to use the washroom? Then they (customer service) asked me how many times am I going to use the washroom? What a stupid question? How anyone can say that they would use only once or twice? It is natural thing… Then they said, O.K. we will give you a washroom on the same floor as you are. So, I thank them.
But guess what again? The room they had given me to use only the washroom, It did opened when I used the card with the night guard but when in the morning my son wanted to use the washroom, and I tried to open the door with the card they provided me, would not open and my son was running around to use the washroom…. And finally, he could not stop him self, so I had no choice to tell him to use the bath tub…
This was one experience…
The second experience was that, we were told that there is a buffet for Dinner time. When we went there, there was not enough food for main course. Well, there was rice, but by the time, we go to get it, it is finished and NO MORE… (Is this what you call BUFFET)????
When I complaint to customer service, they said, it is not them responsible for that. It is some one else in the Restaurant… (Kind of Restaurant manager)
Some how, I manage to speak to the restaurant manager. She apologizes and told me that she would leave 6 tickets for me for breakfast brunch for next morning… at the service desk. Next morning, when I asked the front desk about the coupons for breakfast, they did not find anything… Nobody even care to do something.
My kids and husband were so frustrated with the type of service we got, that they just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible….

We left the hotel with really bad imprison.
