We had a good time
By ,
The rooms were nice and clean. Front desk service was very friendly. This hotel is in a very good location, it is within walking distance of the river, the Falls, the main tourist strip, it has a casino right across the street(maybe 100 yds. from hotel door!) The best thing is that it was near the end of the strip, so it was quiet in the evening. The hotel has a quiet time policy within the hotel also. We returned to our room at 1:30 am (from the casino, of course!) our room was located adjacent to their indoor courtyard, and it was absolutely silent in the hotel. Also we were able to receive WiFi in our room too! Parking in their structure was a little tight, especially for mini vans and SUVs, they also charge for their parking, but almost all places did. It's a great family hotel, because it is connected to the waterpark, and many of the guests i saw were families with kids using the skywalk. Overall, it was a good place to stay, the rates were good, and we did get a good rate from booking on Y! Travel. We only stayed for one night, but I would stay at this hotel again, i was happy with the trip!

Would NOT Recommend!!
By ,
The only thing positive is it's location to casino and amenities. The "newly renovated" suites as advertised on their website were done 1 1/2 years ago per Michelle at front desk. Carpets were absolutely filthy, and we had to keep shoes on. The rooms are dark, small and dingy. The walls are so paper thin you could hear normal octave voiced conversations from your neighbors, so whisper unless you want everyone to know your business. Booked a one night stay w/waterpark with our two daughters. When we arrived, was told of a deposit that we HAD to put down ($50.00) for security purposes, otherwise we could not get our room and would not be refunded any monies. Would have been nice if we were told this beforehand, so I had been better prepared. Was told by manager it was in case we used the phone or ordered a movie from our room. However, later that evening, I ordered a movie only to be refused (right on the TV screen) in front of my children (very embarassing). When I phoned the front desk they wanted another $50.00??? When I told them the movie was only $14.00 and I would be willing to pay for that, they relented. Very rude night deskman..Scott. One of those "I worked here for ten years....blah blah blah know-it-alls with attitude. Upon checkout and reimbursement of our deposit, we had to wait almost an hour until housekeeping made sure "we didn't steal anything". Our one night get-away from day to day issues, was a complete letdown!! I honestly felt like they have no appreciation of their guests. I have never experienced a hotel like this one in my life!! I will never return, and when I informed them this when I checked out, he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. They don't care....simple as that!

this hotel is very clean, and has nice furniture it is close to the falls and the skywalk to the waterpark is great. the only thing i didn't like was the courtyards, it sucked how you couldn't open the blinds without having someone walk by your room. other then that i would go back!

air conditioning in room? not really 70 degrees outside and no ac. tv selection is poor and you have no view of the falls. big step to go in to bathroom and no signs to warn you. very confusing to find your way around the hotel.

No class

By far the worst hotel we ever stayed in MArch break07,checked in the hotel at 830 Thursday evening a group of 3 adults & 5 children we booked 2 rooms the kids were excited to stay so were we,upon arrival at our room other guest at the hotel was telling our kids SHHH at 900pm at night on march break ?we went to the pool area stayed until it closed at 10pm got back to the room had the kids showered and changed to go out for dinner, got back to the room at 100am there about no one in sight except for security walking on our floor about 20 mins into us getting in the room and have the kids settled into bed,the kids were awaken by a loud bang on the door .Security we are being loud and he would kick us out of the hotel if he ever came back upstairs, couldnt believe what we were hearing , it was quite upsetting i think the security made much more noise by banging on the door than the 5 children combined, either way at this point we felt we werent welcomed we packed the kids that were already in pj's and all and drove the 2 hour drive back home . Didnt want to be at a spot where we werent welcomed,in all my years of travel i have never encountered such treatment . WE asked for the manager's name to report what had happened the guy at the front desk gave us the name of someone that works in house keeping? Need i say more?

Dispicable
By ,
I liked the atmosphere i liked the water park but i didnt like the way we were treated by the security guard and the other guests in the hotel we were there foe one night in the hotel because our visit had to be cut short because of the rudeness of the security and the front dedsk clerk. First of all they falsley accussed of making noise/ disturbing the guest which we did bnot do any of those things i do not reccommend this hotel for any one.

Nice room, weird courtyards.
By ,
We were able to check in early, which was great. The room was beautiful and looked just like the one in the picture, except for the sheets (but who cares what color the sheets are anyway). Super short walk to clifton hill/falls ave area, casino, and indoor walk to water park. The only thing we didnt like were the weird courtyards. We thought our room was facing out toward the city but because we checked in early we were in an enclosed courtyard. I thought enclosed meant surrounded by other rooms, but it actually means indoors. We did not have a window facing the outside world and other guests with children seemed to think the courtyard was their own personal living room during the morning time. Good for families, but if you want quiet/more privacy, book a room facing out.
