Will definitely go back again!!
By Clara, 10/20/08
Had a great time. Hotel staff was very friendly, very helpful and courteous. Everything was renovated, looking great and absolutely loved the new beds and pillows. Experienced everything from a quiet evening dining in the hotel restaurant to visiting the hotel club downstairs.

OK, but you'd better like noise...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/08
My daughter and I stayed here to see the Red Bull air races. The hotel is looking a bit worn; The hallways are definitely showing their age. One of the elevators was out of service, which meant that the sole remaining one got backed up at times. The room itself was 85% fine. It was clean, the bed was comfy, etc. The bathroom fan ( which can't be turned off ) made a constant whine, which would have been irritating, except it was drowned out by the noise elswhere. Our room was on the 8th floor, facing Ouellete Ave. And holy cow, it was loud Saturday night. REALLY loud. Between the nightclub directly across the street, the bars, the cars constantly roaring up and down the street and then peeling out, the yells and screams of the people on the street, it was non-stop noise from about 7:00PM to 2:30AM. Combine that with the numerous, obviously drunk ( or in the process of getting drunk ) people in the surrounding rooms, and it was a madhouse. 90% of the people there seemed to be college students whose sole purpose was to party. So if you fall into that category - this may be just the place for you. If not, and you actually want to get some sleep, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

FIVE star hotel ....NOT !!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/02/08
This hotel alone may be responsible for the downfall of the RAMADA chain reputation. I will attempt to list in bullet point form why I will never return to this hotel: 1) HOT water - I wanted to take a bath and after letting water run for 30 minutes, only got luke warm water, I called front desk, did send service up within 15 minutes, turned taps on full blast for 10 minutes and I finally got hot water. 2) Broken toilette seat - toilette seat was broken, kept sliding left to right and every time we sat on toilette it would physically rock forward and backward 3) Non-smoking: I think NOT !...there was such a stench of stale smoke in the hallway (floor 5) I almost threw up...a few industrial auto-airfresheners might solve this problem 4) Curtain: I went to draw curtains and panel on left side fell off of the rod 5) 10:00 pm someone knocks on our hotel room door selling $10 tickets to a party at Peppers bar - located across the street from the hotel; I later find out that the franchisee also owns Peppers Bar - I mean really ! YET, when we reported this to front desk, they were aghast and claimed they do not allow such canvassing. 6) Towels: bath towels were the size of postage stamps, that would cover only a run-way model size 0 7) Noise: drunken teens running in and out of their rooms, screaming in the hallways, slamming doors - this went on until 4 in the morning; I went out three times to ask them to settle down and finally called front desk to send up security. 8) Pillows: small worn out, two to a bed - major kink in my neck in the morning. 9) Restaurant-very poor service: one person working in the whole place, took 1/2 hr just to get our drinks, meal took another 1/2 hr - wrong order was brought to one of us - food quality standard fare. Anyone over 20 should not stay at this hotel. For $170.00 I should have been able to have a really great experience. Disgruntled and unrested, but back in my own bed in Toronto.

Conveniently Located!
By Rodney, 02/20/06
I had a very enjoyable stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. The staff was very professional and hospitable. The hotel rooms were clean and spacious. You simply step outside and you're in the heart of downtown Windsor. I'll definitely be staying here again in the furture.

Party on ramada!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/05
the service was great and the location was right in the heart of everything. it was awesome. the room service was also excellent. the only problem was the parking, we had to park at the casino b/c they were all out of parking. it wasnt that big of an inconvenience though. i would definatly stay there again.
