Ramada Plaza Toronto Downtown, Toronto

As we approached the dingy looking hotel presently undergoing some much needed construction; I was quickly reminded to not judge the appearance-I am, however, greatful I had. The room was tiny and the lack of a functional bathroom door made my mind about this hotel. Conclusivly, the security was absolutly wonderful, if you consider allowing sleeping bums in your ice machene room to be safe. Location, Location? Well this had festered in Ramada Plaza's mind. Not only were we incountered with many hookers and other 'street walkers' but the persistent ringing which followed the airconditionar reminded me that you really get what you pay for-who am I kidding-$150 can get me much furthur than this poor excuse of a hotel. Overall, I give this two trampy hookers and one broken bathroom door down. The only thing that captured my interest was the glowing EXIT sign that shewed a luminous and almost tempting light. My advice to future clientels-use it!

Hotel is shabby, in the worst part of downtown. The bathroom windows were dirty, parking cost high, food horrible. Do better and stay somewhere worthwhile.

Visited with friends that came in from montreal, we had dinner with them in the hotels restaurant, wonderful service and the food was great our friends told us that there room was comfortable and the staff was very sweet, we like to recomend the Ramada to all our friends that visit us at this time of year

This hotel was terribly disapointing. There was broken glass on several floors within the suite and a lamp in the bedroom had been burnt leaving a mark on it and the floor along with the smell of burnt fabric in the room. When I made this aware to the receptionist he refused to make eye contact with me and barely acknolwledged my complaint. The suite we booked contained none of the facilites we expected. There was a fridge that appeared not to work and a microwave but no cuttlery or glasses. This place was so bad that we cancelled the last night of our stay. It’s not terribly expensive but the décor, facilites and service were well below par!

The whole place was great and I can't wait to go back.

I like the strcuture of tbe building. the service rendered and above all the look of teh environment. It is very freindly. The staff there are wonderful. I feel like making it my home. You guys are wonderful. keep it up. The Lord is on your side.

Last year a group of us traveled from Michigan to Toronto for the Big Pow wow at the Skydome. The hotel was nice, it looked a little old from the street, but the lobby was nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom could have been bigger, but we had a double room. There was plenty of room to move, a larger TV and a small sitting couch. From a person who spends at least 30 months a year in Hotels, this was pretty nice. :) My gripes: the resturant staff had an attitude problem and the pool is in the bilding accross the walkway (its above the parking lot) but its connected by a skywalk. Saving Graces: THe hotel is located only a few blocks from Eaton Park Shopping district, The subway system, and a lot of good resturants in Eaton park. The neighbor hood has an international college, but it was pleasant. Two friends and i (all girls) were walking around after the sun set and were not "scared" by the neighborhood at all.
