Stayed the weekend here with my family for a wedding. Not a single person in our large family had a nice stay. It is over priced, as bad as a 'on the lake' location could be and the service is laughable. I will spare you all the details. All you need to know is that unless this is your last resort, do not even consider staying here. It is simply a joke of a hotel.

NOTHING liked Room on freeway, served coffee to commuters! Construction 10am to 4pm next to my room. Nothing about this on web site when I made reservation! Do not recommend

I spent two weeks here on business. Upon check-in, I was upgraded for free to a "deluxe room with lake view". The deluxe room had a king bed, mini-fridge but overlooked the parking lot. I could barely see the lake and had to keep my curtains closed for privacy. My alternative, however, was a rum overlooking a highway. Aside from a convenience store and a burger shack, there are no other businesses around the hotel. The hotel restaurant was overpriced and had few menu choices. The meat lover's pizza had slices of breakfast sausage and I was given lemon meringue pie after ordering key lime. Though the rooms were decent and the staff was friendly, the hotel is overpriced. There is also no pool but there is a small fitness room with a sauna and hot tub. All in all, I would not stay here again, neither on the company dime nor mine.

I am travelling coast to coast in North America, and this is the worst hotel, with the poorest value I have stayed in. I chose the hotel as it advertised a "fabulous view" of the Lake. I paid extra for a "view room", but felt it didn't live up to the billing - the lake was visible across a major highway, and past a line of trees, but in no way would I describe this as a fabulous view - nor would I describe the lake as being "across the street" - this was not what I'd call a street. Couple that with the attitude of the staff, from the minute I presented myself at reception - again by far the worst I've seen on the entire trip - and I couldn't recommend this hotel to everyone - and the distance from downtown was also an issue - almost an hours drive on a Friday afternoon, and well over 30 mins on public transport.
