We Enjoyed Our Stay Before The Maple Syrup Festival!!!

Yes okay I am going to say the truth...Yes the building is older, but honestly My wife and I and our three children had a good time, we came down for the maple syrup festival in Elmira. Now Elmira and Kitchener are about a 20 minute drive apart however we did not mind the drive. Now when we had checked in we had noticed the hotel was quite busy, but as I imagined it would have been as we heard prior to coming that there was going to be over 75,000 people at the maple syrup festival this year.
Now onto the hotel room, I had booked a non smoking 2 double beds and a playpen for our little son, But when we got to our room we noticed that it was a king bed, My wife and I thought "how are 5 of us going to sleep in 1 bed" I called the front desk and they had informed me that they have upgraded us from a room with 2 beds to a king room with a pull out sofa and the playpen was on it's way. For a few seconds I was upset however I noticed that this room was quite large and it came with a fridge and microwave which honestly helped, when traveling with a toddler it's a great thing to have.
The pool was absolutely amazing my daughter and son really enjoyed themselves and met a lot of kids their age. Which I believe was great, as then my kids were occupied and not bored when we were in the hotel, my wife actually got to relax. The hotel room was great, very clean, we had no complaints (except we wish our weekend was longer, but hey there's really nothing we can do about that....).
We paid $99.00 plus tax, we think it is a great price and a well deserved weekend. We will for sure come back, I mean they have everything that other hotels have too but at a cheaper price. The only downfall was there was no continental breakfast on the weekend. But I was talking to the front desk clerk about that and he said that the new restaurant that they are opening will be serving breakfast for a great price and will even do room service by the summer.....
