Bright and noisy, hot and smelly

We had a room on a corner. The windows did not seal (one had a broken latch), so we got street noise from two directions all night. Blanshard is one of the main drags in Victoria, so there is a lot of traffic. The curtains did not cover the windows, so we had light from streetlamps, too. Although the room was clean, there was a funky smell in the bathroom and around the bed, perhaps because the building is older. We had planned to stay three nights, but checked out after the first night. Lastly, there is no air conditioning and it was in the 80s during the day when we were in Victoria. AAA gave this Inn three stars, but I think it should be a two.
